Yes, you've demonstrated that ability as well! The finders of rare things. Sounds like Indiana Jones.

Unfortunately, there was only the same display case you see in the video so I was limited in what I could bring. I tried to choose, as many small items as I thought would fit in the case.
I have to say, however, that the show….www.Amazicon.net..... was great!!!
Moreso for me at least because I got to spend 3 entire days with sitting next to and talking to “Plenty O’Toole” herself...Lana Wood.
My friend who ran the show asked if I would do a Bond prop display for his show. He said “I’ll set you up next to Lana Wood.” How could I resist?
She was such a great person!!!! We both shared the same sick sense of humor so we got along fantastically. We would meet for breakfast in the mornings and spend the rest of the day next to each other talking about...everything. It was a shame for the guy running the show because, as it was his first show, it was slow in attendance. However, that just meant Lana and I got to spend more time talking with one another.
At lunchtime they brought a large tray of sandwiches for us. I had been speaking with someone and noticed Lana was returning to the table with her sandwich. I stopped talking to ask her “Is that for me?” She said kiddingly...“Sure, I’ll hold it here for you until you’re ready” When I saw she had finished it I approached her and said “Where’s my sandwich?” She said “Oh, I’ll have to owe you one at the next show” As you can see, I had her give me an I.O.U. She signed it: To Ed --- “I.O.U. One sandwich. You’re too adorable. Lana Wood “Plenty”
To give you an idea of her sense of humor...some guy asked for her autograph and she asked "What do you want me to write on it?" He said write "To Dan...then write whatever you want" On the photo she wrote "To Dan, whatever you want. Lana Wood" LOL...he loved it.
She was very personable with all the people that stopped and talked with her and she probably gave away more signed photos than she sold. She would even ask them to come around behind the table and take a photo with her. I sort of became her photograher and would take the photos of them getting hugged by her.
I purposely took a few photos to make sure they came out ok...and prolong their being hugged by Lana. No one seemed to mind ...LOL
She said she had a great time at the show and said if they invite her back for the next one that she would ask her friends...Maud Adams, Caroline Munro, Tanya Roberts, Gloria Hendry AND George Lazenby to come with her...provided I returned and set up next to them. Hmmm...my friend won’t have to “twist my arm" for me to do that show!!!
Lana was even nice enough to recreate the still of her with Connery with his arm around her neck holding the casino plaques....with me standing in for Connery. I’m still waiting to get the photo from the show photographer and will send them shortly along with photos of the display case.
Unfortunetly, the photos I took of my display came out a bit blurry but again, a guy who took photos of the show said he would send me some pics shortly so I’ll certainly post them soon I receive them.
Now...where did I put those Shark gun blueprints....?

Probably the S&W 500 Hey Ed, if ya S&W 500 is missing me and Dave have it sussed )
But then, didn't Ed blame Plenty for eating his sandwich, it was one big sandwich, and for such a petite lady to eat a sandwich so fast
It was awesome - well worth the quick drive up from DC! Great seeing Lana again - gorgeous, personable, and funny. I finally got to meet Ed in person (after years of emailing and prop collecting) and had the honor of filming David's interview with Lana and Ed. Let me know when anyone's interested in visiting the International Spy Museum in DC. A few fans have expressed interest.
