Lone Star toys

After getting a piece high on my wants list it prompted me to dig out all my Lone Star james Bond toys. I have not included anything Wicke unless it actually also says Lone Star on the box.

As far as I know and according to my catalogs I am just one piece missing to complete the Bond range, anyone having that missing piece, clue - its a boxed set with gun and camera, badge etc. Please get in touch !

I don't display my stuff anymore and so these items have never been together before and some of them I have not seen in over 10 years - OMG how time flies................

Enjoy

Game on the way Rueb, I'm sure you know you will love it. For comedy try and read the instructions I read them as I was packing the box and they are hilarious!!!

Was lucky enough to get the Thunderball Subtank set with divers ( in the top left quadrant of the picture) - another item on the list with a tick - yeh :)

Really a terrific photo. I just love the Thunderball harpoon gun and the small scuba divers in their original packages. Rare items and it seems that all the packages are in mint conditon.

I hope you can complete your Lone Star collection with the boxed set with the gun and camera, badge etc. very soon. I also hope that there will be an update of your Bond website, although I can image the lot of work it will cost.

Away back in the 70s I had an alternative version of the James Bond Super Action Set. It had essentially the same set but a different pistol - rather than the P45 it had a long plastic pistol with an inbuilt silencer, and it fired both darts and caps.

Ohhh how I wish I'd kept it :(

Magnificent set btw - I'm green with envy!

Thanks for the comments - I am working on a toy project and it will include a website update!

I have three different Super Action sets and there are multiple variations . I think it was a box that included anything they wanted to put in! Some have walki talkis, cameras, binoculars, The cap dart gun I am not familiar with but hey why not?

After photographing this lot I started to realize that there are not as many Lone Star James Bond products as I had originally thought. I must say I was quite suprised as I had thought they were more prolific.

Thanks Nick, will love it I'm sure.

Some of the 60s Lonestar items are really nice. You can't beat the 60s artwork.

The Lone Star Harpoon gun and the Subtank box are highlights of 60's merchandise Bond art. In fact I would be hard pressed to think of anything that was better!

Looks fantastic, espcially the Thunderball Bombsled and Harpoon gun. Also nice to see the Walther PPK in The Living Daylights packaging too (It is my second favorite Bond film). Best of luck to you in finding the missing set.

Yeah, really great collection! I always get a kick out of that Lone Star guy that supposed to be a Connery look-a-like. It's like, who is that guy? Connery started to balk at the fact that his image was used to sell products but he was not compensated. First issue Corgi 261 Aston Martin DB5 also comes to mind, with the darkened face. Again, great collection! Enjoy.
