Deja Vu in TWINE

At the very end of TWINE when Bond and Christmas swim up from the exploding submarine to the surface it is almost a carbon copy of the scene with Bond and Wai lin escaping from the Devonshire in TND....2 years earlier!!
I just can't help but find this so strange...surely it can't be a homage to the scene from TND but if not why is it so alike?!
They both include:
-Bond and his girl desperately swimming to the surface whilst escaping a huge hazard from the depths below.
-Both of them emerging from the surface and gasping for breathe, even shot from the same camera angle
-Finally them trying to get out of the water by waving and hoping to get a lift on a nearby boat - and both times not getting the intended reply.
Has anyone else noticed this?

Can't really say that I have noticed it but then I've not watched TWINE in years. I guess that the answer may be just that the director Michael Apted wanted to copy thge successful elements from TND before it as much as possible or else the new scripttwriters in Purvis and Wade had simnply ran out of ideas on how to end a modern day James Bond film, who knows for sure?
Thanks for sharing your interesting observation, nonetheless.
Np it's just been something that's been playing on my mind for an age and I just wondered if anybody knew any further info about the scene, or even if anyone knew what I was talking about
