Exactly 41 days before the world premiere of a Bond movie an athlete and inventor who had a small but distinctive part in a James Bond movie died. In what movie do we see this person doing the thing that he (among others) made famous?
Tom Sims, who invented snowboarding and performed the snowboarding sequence in AVTAK. However, I knew that it would be a trick, because he didn't pass away before the film he was in. He was in AVTAK, but died 41 days before the premiere of Skyfall. -{
Wow.... I didn't think it would be this easy! You are correct. However, I wouldn't say my question was intended to trick anyone as I don't say anywhere that the movie he appeared in and the movie before which premiere he died are the same.
I had all kind of hints lined up for if you couldn't guess it right away.
Anthony Hopkins plays Odin in the Marvel Thor movies, and of course was considered multiple times for the role of a Bond villain (which sadly never happened). Despite this, one actor has appeared in a Bond film, as well as playing a Norse God. So, who was it and what Bond film were they in?
He played that most celebrated of norse gods Number24.
Seriously though I recall the film dark Kingdom something or other, can't think of his characters name though???? That one was tricky.
