Gave it a quick listen. :D yes it is a " Shaddap ! ", 40s American Gangster film style. :))
The main thing I can't understand about the end of TMWTGG, is why Scaramanga kept
So many empty wine bottles on his shelves ? :))

Waiting for someone to invent recycling because he's really an eco warrior who cant bare to throw anything away?
Or just to give Nick Nack a chance and give us a classic Guy Hamilton ending? (With my cynical hat on)

im sorry if this question has been posed before, but I did watch QOS the other night ,and one thing bugs me ,
Bond is accused of killing a member of Special Branch and tossing him off a building (pardon the pun couldn't resist it) M then tells Tanner from her bathroom to block all Bonds passports and cards, Bond then tries to follow Dominic
but his card wont buy him a flight from the lovely Ocean sky girl,Bond then appears in Italy asking Mathis for help in the passport /card dept (im sure Bond had enough cash to get him from the Tosca site to the Italian lake ) so I wont delve into that , Then turns up in Tom Ford Cardy ect (he didn't Porto Prince with any luggage ?
Then using the fake passport and credit cards from Mathis ,then turns up in Bolivia only to be greeted at the airport
by nice F O girl ,how did she /they know he was going there if he was using fake passport/cards ect
that bit didn't add up to me or did I miss something 8-)
By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?

Unless he made the rookie mistake of putting his real name on his fake passport ? ;)
    Or
Fields hung out at the airport all day, to meet every flight.

    I would imagine that Bond's picture would have been circulated to every airport and port...it's not like he disguises himself...I think he wanted SIS to follow him, just a beat behind though...it's always good to have back up - just in case -{

Watched FRWL yesterday and caught something that bugged me.

When Krosteen is laying out his plan for Blofeld and Klebb, he mentions that the plan will have the added benefit of getting revenge for Dr. No because the man the British will assign to this type of job will most likely be James Bond.

But then, as we all know, Bond is brought in because Romanova says she'll only defect into his waiting arms, she's fallen in love with him from a file photo, etc.

So Bond's involvement is entirely by SPECTRE's design and has nothing to do with Kronsteen's prediction of the agent that MI6 would select for the job.

Not a huge problem, but it kinda bugged me.

Not so much a little niggle rather a little missed opportunity. :D

Watching TWINE tonight on itv2 , All the bald terrorist types hijacking
the warhead. If they had of had them with different bushy moustaches
It would have been a nice nod to the novel Moonraker, after all they did
Have Bond and Dr Jones climbing out of a fire filled missile silo. :))

    YOLT:

*When Aki takes over giving Bond a back rub, they act like long-lost lovers who have finally been reunited. However, nothing from their previous encounters would hint they had a "thing" for each other.

*The sequence of Helga holding Bond in captivity, releasing him, and then trying to kill him again in the airplane makes no sense. I love how villains will often plan an amusing death for Bond, but this one in particular really puzzles me.

*Seeing Bond with brown eyes and chest hair really bothered me after watching so many Roger Moore films. :)

Couldn't agree with you more on those first two points. There was ZERO sexual tension before that scene, and Helga I guess just wanted to get a piece of Bond :))

watched DAD (again ) last night, after Bonds release ,he obviously wants to return to active duty, but M says he has to go
to the evaluation centre in the Falklands, before he can pick up his double O status, now in Skyfall Bond (DC) same dilemma has his evaluation in the emergency MI6 HQ in London ,there for missing out on a all expenses trip to welshboys
home town , I think he has a case to take to HR myself :D

This one has bothered me for awhile. We all know and love that Bond uses a Walther PPK (nevermind that he switches to the P99 for awhile in the Brosno era). In fact, it is such a widely known piece of information that the criminal world is aware of it as well. In YOLT, Blofeld tells Osato "only one man we know uses this sort of gun," and in GE Zukovsky has the great "only three men I know use this gun and I've killed two of them" line.

This triggers (pun not intended, but certainly enjoyed) two "niggles."

    1. When Bond gets the Walther in DN, M says that all the 00's have been using them since he took over MI7 (yeah, he says that, but that's for someone else to fret over), and he says something to the effect that "the Americans have been using them to great success for years." This implies that it is the sidearm of choice for all sorts of British and American secret agents, which directly contradicts the notion that Bond is easily identifiable by the gun. Ok, you can make a case that by GE everyone else had phased it out and he was the only one left still using his trusty Walter PPK, but that assumes a lot and certainly doesn't apply to YOLT which only occurs a few years after DN.

    2. If you ignore the DN dialogue and assume that Bond is the *only* agent with a Walther PPK, that is a TERRIBLE decision for an agent! M and Q would never allow it! It basically leaves Bond's, and by extension MI6's, fingerprint anywhere he shoots his gun. You'd think the logical move would be for him to have the most widely sold generic (while reliable) side arm on the market.

AlphaOmegaSin asked : Whatever happened to Kanangas Shark?

An interesting question, After LALD Bruce tried out for many other roles, The taking of Pelham 123, The Towering Inferno
even Death Wish, But the answer was always the same, "Sorry mate your too established in the evil Shark Role!". He
ended up working in a car wash doing just the odd comercial as it came up. sadly he even sank so low
as to do a cheap Porno "Moby Dick". Luckily for him a young Steven Spielberg was casting around for an up coming Movie.
Bruce did everthing to get noticed, Gate crashing a kids party dressed as a clown as Steven was there, hanging around
his local Synagogue. To get noticed. Finally it worked He auditioned for the role of Town Sherrif, a stunning performance
he showed a remarkable range of emotions and movement. Sadly though Once again, the curse of Typecasting was to
    affect his career.
Back to Evil Shark but this time to huge success, "Jaws" was a big hit leading to a return for "Jaws 2", Bruce was on a High
Nothing could hold him back now !
Jaws 3 was in Production, Bruce thought as agreed in his contract He'd be directing this time, sadly in a case which
has now become Hollywood legend he was shafted by the company and FIRED!. Some new younger, better looking
Shark "Brad" had been chosen, They wanted to try something different.
Dejected and low Bruced turned to the Bottle, He'd always had a problem but had controlled it but now his use of
"Cod liver oil" was getting out of hand. His saviour cam in a phone call from a fan, who was offering him Work on a rival
    Picture.
Sean Connery openly admitts to copying many of the mannerisms of " Bruce" carrying them through on screen to his
Many roles. At first Bruce didn't know who Connery was or could even understand his accent over the phone, But He agreed
do a guest spot as yet another evil shark, Only this time he would be allowed to bring something of himself to the part.
Filming began, a neat twist was he had to wear a small electronic tag, to make it look like he was radio controlled. Bruce
Liked that, thinking it was funny. and true to his world The director let Bruce put in some of his own Moves.
In an interview in 87 bruce said " If you look carefully as I swim round, If you play Frank Sinatra singing My Way,
you'll see I'm swimming in time to the music " and the Bit where Sean sets off the Air Tank, That was an accident, It
was supposed to have been empty, How Myself and Sean laughed afterwards, I'm sure it's on a gag reel somewhere".
Sadly Bruce died later that same year while working on his last film, Finally someone had listened, Someone had faith.
But a badly wired air condidioning fan put an end to all Bruce's Hopes and dreams, His last words were simply .........
....... " How am I supposed to do my Fu*king Job with Freaking Electricians walking into My fu*king eyeline all the time"
so he died as he had lived "Hard", We can only wonder now what that Last film would have looked like with Bruce.
His scenes were reshot by a young actor who took Bruce's firs name in his honour " Bruce Willis" , who tries his Best
    But "Die Hard" will for many movie lovers always be the film that could have raised Bruce to the level of .... Movie Great. -{

Indeed he was, -{ His son also has a Bond Connection He was the shark that attacked Leiter. But He
was Classically stage trained, and many critics ( Especially from Germany ) complained that " He
was too misty eyed" which should be a complement as it's hard for sharks to express any emotion
    other than " I want to eat you " -{
