Moonraker Period Piece

Thinking about the Moonraker Novel and how it is one of my Favorite Flemming Titles, it would be interesting to see a very Faithful made for TV Adaptation of it. Sticking close to the Novel which the Film did not, keep all the Characters, there Descriptions, Locations, etc. Set it during the 50's like in the Novel and make it a Period Piece.

A faithful MR adaptation (or for the matter, any of the books, even DAF) would be such a dream! A while back, Simon Bermuda, who became a member here posted a hoax about an aborted Moonraker movie that kept practically all the novel's elements intact. He actually got a lot of people going but eventually he came out clean to slight acclaim and appreciation for his "labor of love." I can't find the site anymore, but it had faked images of the MR rocket, Bond's Bentley, the setting in Kent, etc.

BBC Radio 4 has done several of the Bond novels Keeping
very strongly to the Novels. I had hoped they Might of done
Moonraker but as yet, No joy.
