After watching Goldeneye again, I think it's a real shame that they didn't spare Ourumov the fate of Bond's gun and use the character in another Brosnan outing. He is by far the most interesting and funny character in GE and I think Gottfried John did a fantastic job with him.
He would have made a much better villain for Brosnan's second film than Elliot Carver and as M described Ourumov as thinking of himself as the next "iron man of Russia" I think he could have made the transition from henchman to antagonist easily.
And in the spirit of the same actors being used in more than one Bond film, wouldn't it be great to see Gottfried John turn up as the head of Quantum against Craig?
(Just one question, am I right in thinking Ourumov was meant to be gay? The way he puckers his lips at Brosnan in the PTS was just superb) :007)

I agree though, he should've been spared and used in another film. He's a cool character B-)
" I don't listen to hip hop!"
The way he "puckers his lips" means he's gay? Hmmm....never gave that a thought at all!
