Cool, it's his phone from St Vitas Dance.

Now you've got to get a Bren Ten, 645 and 4506 to be a real fan!!!!

    :D I'd rather buy a white Testarossa then :D

I have been waiting for the phone for almost 7 years to show up on ebay - so I am pretty happy... ;)

My old man's got a black Testarossa. Had it since 1984. I love that car. I'd take it over his Continental GT anytime.

    Wow, sounds great!
    Hope to get a spin when we meet -{

I can send you over some car film to make it white
The original MV Testarossa was a black one which has been resprayed in white.

Does the Testarossa have the high mirror?
    Pics?

I took folks to see Vice locations in Miami last month before the Bond cruise - and the Dezer museums there have a Spyder next to the Bond rooms... Indy Magnoli does a nice Sonny Burnett license, that I have, by the way. I also have pics I don't know if anyone else has of some of the Vice props if anyone else wants to do a license or etc. send me a note... thanks!

    Great idea!

Unfortunately, I don't own any MV props, but there is a guy over at miamivice.info who owns a lot of the clothing.
I doubt that he's willing to sell.

Maybe Grannymiles can make a separate MV thread out of this - maybe it's a bad idea as it will then be burried in the AJB off-topic cave :#

The photos I have are mostly of non-clothing props, ID cards and etc. from the first season and mainly the first few episodes! Great stuff...

Just for the record: we don't swallow sausages - we chew them :D

That kind of clichee would be a fest for your banned pal who accused me to be a nazi for disagreeing with people with a different watch taste btw :D

Hasn't anyone realised (it's quite obvious from his 'expert' suggestions) that our sausage gargling friend is more a connoisseur of the pork sword than he is of timepieces.

I'll get dell to mail him some education :v

The bezel has a purpose - I know that you are not aware about these minor details.
As you refuse to receive education from me, let me point you to an article by the great James Dowling* about the Explorer II:

    * the not-so-great Dell Deaton has very little to say on that topic aside prom self- promotion :D

The purpose of the bezel would appear to be to spoil the beauty of the watch.....a bit like putting a German in lederhosen :p

    RE: bezel

I also recently got my hands on a new version Explorer II (whilst away on my recent trip) and was surprised how much I actually used / referred to the Orange hand / bezel to check other time zones (home). Def my travel watch!!!

Would love a vintage version like ^^^^

My first Rolex 30 yrs ago was a GMT Master II, still wearing GMT most of the time - just recently discovered my love for the EXP II.

Can't go wrong with any of them unless you ruin an EXP II with a white dial - or even worse buy a green Sub :D
