I live near Orlando, Florida and fortunately there are small British goods shops there that actually carry the Tipree and the Coopers brands. It is outrageously expensive for these treats - three times as much for an ordinary strawberry jam but only about twice the cost for the marmalade - yet, they are very high quality and IMO do taste much better (like the Jersey butter vs most butter). Fleming certainly didn't flinch at using luxury brands if the quality was there. I stock them regularly and use them sparingly and my family knows they are a default gift for me for my birthday or Christmas. This way I pretty much have them year round - they are one of those small luxuries I got from the Bond novels which I can fortunately indulge in. I found this little packet of info on why the Little Scarlett is so much more expensive: " Little Scarlet is a very special strawberry, an anachronism (lovely word!) in today’s world. Today, strawberries are quite unlike the tiny, intensely flavoured fruit of two hundred years ago, whereas Little Scarlet strawberry never changed. Grown only at Tiptree, the fruit is difficult to grow, an unpredictable cropper that dislikes extremes of weather and won’t keep once picked. The upside is that Tiptree’s Little Scarlet conserve (James Bond’s preserve of choice) is made only from our own fresh fruit, within hours of it being picked."
Not a bad price at all, I normally pay either £2.99 or £3.99 depending on who's got stock. We have a nice little shop quite locally that sells all sorts of products like that. They even have the Wilkin and sons little scarlet gin liquer on occasion.
Heres a picture of my breakfast today , whole meal toast , Little Scarlet strawberry jam ,Frank Coopers finest ,and a mug of Earl Grey (Qs favourite)
I dedicate this photo to my good buddy COOLHANDBOND out there in Mactan island

I've had heather honey from these areas and IMO since the taste is influenced by the heather, I really could not tell the difference, so it would probably be safe to say a brand from Norway would also taste the same.

I'm guessing that if you dig around enough Norwegian heather, you'll eventually find some honey
Number24 has gone suspiciously quiet though. I do hope he didn't go out looking amongst the heather for some honey and was dragged off by a bear. That would be inconvenient.

It just occurred to me as I sat here having my breakfast that we have this thread. I always attempt a hearty and leisurely breakfast on Sunday which normally consists of some form of egg and bacon, fresh orange juice, followed by the toast and preserves course usually taken with coffee. I'm most partial to toasted seeded batch bread but as I eat healthily all week I allow myself some white toastie bread with my jam on the weekend, with a generous smothering of butter.
I was in my local posh-shop the other day and happened to remember to look for the Tiptree little scarlet. Lo and behold, they had it. I mortgaged my flat in Chelsea, sold the Bentley and bought a jar. It really is superb. My wife asked what I was eating and she tried it. It's now half gone and I've only had one small taste

I guard mine with a loaded ppk!
I have the Anglian strawberry jam for the likes of Mrs coop and the kids. The Little Scarlet is just for me.

Nearby in Gainesville, Florida. You bring the jam, we'll scramble the eggs.
This question may only apply to us Brits ,as we are on a breakfast theme ,but is there any preference on which brown sauce one takes with their English (or Irish (TP) ) breakfast ? we always have HP (Houses of Parliament) sauce but im sure daddies or even the supermarkets own brands are just as good ,
I am on holiday in the UK for a couple of weeks and have moved from London down to Bournemouth to visit my daughter's family. We went to a Waitrose and there before me was Little Scarlet jam. I purchased a whole carton and have had it shipped back home. I look forward to Sunday mornings with fresh sourdough toast and jam -{

Maybe #24 could start up a little export business.
Nothing from Norway I'm afraid, but Amazon offers diffferen brands of Scottish and French heather honey and I also found these French brands here:
