As promised shots of some Corgi Icon James Bond prototypes I have, all are resin and hand painted






Scaramanga and Dr NO are very similar to the actual icons produced





Lots more paint and facial detail in these next Icons





Two completely different sculpts for Sean Connery, both of these are prototypes, and one has a PPK with a silencer

I prefer the detail on the prototypes to the final production ones.
As a matter of interest how many figures did Corgi release?

The total number was 19 in the end plus two limited edition repaints taking the collection to 21

VERY COOL! Nick ... they are fantastic.... I agree with other comment's the detail and
sculpting on the Prototypes are better than the finished Released Models.... were the
prototypes used in advertisement in anyway?.... do you know - like the little Corgi
Icon... pull out leaflet that came with many of the figures? I see similarities in some of
the Proto's and the ones shown in some of the Promo Booklets ......... Nice
