Thank you, BarBel ( ) )--wow: nine years ago. . .I'm really feeling my age. As for the title being too long, I don't buy it. If EON can sell a title like Quantum of Solace, this one wouldn't be a problem.

That's how I feel about The Hildebrand Rarity - a title that I see get repeatedly criticised, yet to me, it is a much more 'normal' title than Quantum Of Solace.
Years ago I'd have bet that they'd never use QoS as a title; so I wouldn't bet against Hildebrand. I do think that Property... is a better choice, though.

I think that, as they're so close, they may aswell use the remaining 4. Or rather, remaining 3, and for 007 in new york they could just call it something with 'new york' in the title. 'New York Sniper' or something for example
Bitter Betrayal; Long kiss Goodbye; Taste of Treason; Firefight ; Shoot for the Heart; The Bullet with my Name; I never miss twice; On Pain of Death; A Secret to Die For;
"That was a Smith&Wesson and you've had YOUR six!"... Bang! Bang! Bang!
The scent smoke and sweat of a casino are nauseating at three in the morning. Then the soul-erosion produced by high gambling - a compost of greed and fear and nervous tension - becomes unbearable and the senses awake and revolt from it.
Risico is great and I love the Idea that when they were making Thunderball they were contemplating Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. There is a pretty good Robert Downey movie with that title now or close to it. Does anyone know why they haven't started adapting the John Gardner books they have great titles and premises. Icebreaker, For Special Services, & Nobody Lives Forever are all great ones.

Yeah....money....they would have to pay to use them...and they have used some bits from his books already, but not enough to constitute a payment...

Which and what bits have they used from Gardner, exactly?
The top 7 Bond films: 1) Dr No. 2) From Russia With Love. 3) Thunderball. 4) On Her Majesty's Secret Service. 5) For Your Eyes Only. 6) The Living Daylights. 7) Licence to Kill.

Quite a few bits...there is a thread detailing them somewhere abouts....
These suggested titles are stretching it a bit and sound generic. Oddly, you have Adele's song Rumour Has It, a great Bondian sounding track and the title would be a good Bond one too imo, mind you say the same of Someone Like You, well, almost.
And then you have Duran Duran's Come Undone, another great Bond sounding song for a Bond film of that name, a-ha's Hunting High and Low, ditto, and you wonder how hard it should be to come up with a Bond title.
Having watched him in Luther, the producers should get him in Soon. I know we joke a lot, but he is a fantastic actor.
Agreed. An outstanding candidate for the next Bond adversary. Elba could definitely hold his own with Craig. I saw him in Pacific Rim last night, and what a commanding presence he has!
Is be quite happy to put money on it that this ISN'T the title....its lazy journalism again....didn't they report this as the title of Skyfall ? Or was that Carte Blanche ? Anyhoo...its lazy journalism to fill papers...

Yes! I have been a fan of that title for quite a while. -{
I think this is just another case of the press making stuff up to fill an empty space.

It usually does )
The newspapers won't be the first to break the title...they never are anymore.
This is simply a fabricated story with no substance. Notice that they haven't even quoted an unnamed source.
