Osris- if you read Sir Miles post more carefully, he does ask you to discuss your grievances by PM. No more of this here.

Osris, you are either trying to wind up members here (a process known as "griefing," a bannable offense) or you are too stupid to get the point of very simple comments. At any rate, I'm finished talking to you.

I can see that this forum is not a place for opinions that don’t toe the line around the SF/Craig axis. I seem to have been cast as someone who is anti-SF/Craig. And because of that, my views here are automatically disagreed with, no matter on what topic. So given this forum’s intolerance of any opinion that is not the party line's, I will bow out of this exchange. I bid you adieu.
  • HigginsHiggins GermanyPosts: 16,619MI6 Agent
sorry, osris. I don't know you but there is no SF/Craig axis.
Everybody can have his own opinion as long as it's passed over in a reasonable manner and you know this.

I am not a too large fan of SF and QoS was **** imo but I can accept why people like SF and it gained a lot of awards.

Does that influence my opinion? A little!
Does it change my point of view? Hell no!
Am I threatened by the mods for that opinion? Well, I am stalked by Sir Miles for my good taste in watches, I had a lot of fights over there with the Timboys but nothing goes as far as censoring my opinion.

    I have no dog in this fight but I am always sorry to see older members to leave -{

Sorry to read you feel that way, Although sometimes strong opinions, strongly worded can upset people. Perhaps a friendlier form of words would help to get ones views across. Leading to a friendly dicussion rather than an argument. :)

I thought Mendes did a fine job with Skyfall my only real problem is the
wait for Bond's next outing. I do wish they could get back to a new film
    every two years.

While every two years would be ideal, I'm happy to wait three/four years to get the quality of films that Eon has delivered with DC...I'm just glad they haven't jumped on the back of Skyfall's success and just trotted out any old crap to cash in...

All right, I will answer this one and one only.
Once again you are completely wrong. There is, as said above, no SF/Craig axis on this site. Although I like SF I do not like Craig and think he is a poor Bond. This is no secret. And I'm a moderator, so how can there be a party line?
However, like Hardyboy, I've had enough. No more warnings. I trust the position is clear now.

ATTENTION: The name of this website will henceforth be known as Absolutely Daniel Craig, or just ADC, and all discussion forums will be transformed into forums where we may praise the award-winning--and therefore only film to merit discussion--Skyfall. All who disagree with my view that the few awards Skyfall was given qualify it as not only the best James Bond film but as the greatest motion picture made in the history of the medium will be immediately BANNED. However, those who are willing to reconsider their heretical views may spend one week in reeducation--watching the Holy Skyfall on an endless loop--and may rejoin ADC as a penitent.

Yes, I have written this in a tone of sarcasm, but since sarcasm only tells the truth you know all this will happen. Soon.

It's about time these changes were instituted, if you ask me.

Can we do something about the Roger Moore fans, while we're at it?
