FS: Zara "Enjoying Death" Shirt, size EXTRA LARGE 42

MrZarebaMrZareba Krakow, PolandPosts: 1,775MI6 Agent
After 2 months of haunting, looking, a guy found me one of these. NEW, without tags however. Size EXTRA LARGE (42 - so it's like an adult L) - my size actually, I don't have one of these (because I sold my own one back in January so I could buy the Sony XPERIA T). PM me everyone who's interested, I'm going to be honest with you here, I'm not going to sell it cheap! :) Anyway, waiting for any offers, cheers. ;) (pictures later)

EDIT: I posted a new topic, because the other one is currently connected with the replica shirt, so I thought it wouldn't be correct to post any info there.

Right, I decided to put the shirt on eBay, it's definitely my size as I tried it on today. Anyway, can someone explain why and who wrote a message like this to me:

"Dear fallen agent. You are without doubt the biggest **** I've come across for some time. A disgusting cynical money grabbing ****. It's little wonder you're so well loved on Ajb."

The money thing is again popping up I guess, again: I don't get it.

EDIT: nice automatic swearing correction :D

Yes, I think the auto-correct words are better for forum use - and that particular auto-correct is mine...as for the actual message itself....how was it sent ?

Via eBay. Not here, but considering the fact it was connected with ajb I thought about posting it here.

Trouble is you offered it to members of AJB first then decided to put it on eBay after probably seeing that the other Zara shirt on auction sold for £401.00.

It's all about morals and ethics, chap.

It's a very delicate question. I've sold screen-accurate items in the past, had people email me telling me that the price had to come down as no-one else would buy it, and guess what, the item sold for four times the low ball offer. It's a form of entitlement in itself, *I* want it at the price *I'm* willing to pay and that's the end of it. 8-)

However, if said item really is that valuable, then the market will determine that at open auction. If you set a fixed price then you do have to accept the facts that can come off looking greedy.

The way I look at it...

If you try to sell it at $75, then you're going to have every forum member + every eBay shark sending in messages for it at that price. Who do you choose? The first person that messages you? That means its a matter of who's online the same time you are. If there are people willing to buy at that price, then why not sell for it? Especially since it is now a rare item, which means supply is low so naturally prices will skyrocket. So if people are going to message Mr. Z and offer stratosphere level prices, I'd say he'd be crazy not to take them.

That's what he did though! Offered it to the highest bidder on AJB then pulled it and stuck it on eBay instead!

I'm sure he was offered some very attractive prices from members on AJB, but can't help feeling his head was turned towards eBay when another Zara shirt sold for £401.00.

In a way I don't blame him, but he has obviously upset a few people on here who were given the chance to buy the shirt via the forum. In my view that's playing slightly with people's emotions.

I haven't. Before I posted it on eBay I contacted both interested buyers that I'm thinking about putting it there and reassured myself that they will be cool with it. It's not a secret that I'm curious where might the price go, I just don't get the fact what's wrong about it, all other buyers have been rejected and I did my best to be fair with the interested members. This argue has no sense at all.

As long as you were honest and upfront with the interested parties on AJB, then all is fine. I've had no complaints about this item, so I have to assume it is.

Obviously one of the interested buyers wasn't cool with it!

Good luck with your sale on eBay. In future maybe it's worth putting all your Zara shirt finds straight onto eBay instead of letting people down on this forum.

What are you implying, who is the member that was let down by me?
