Very limited quantities (300) and most of these will go at ComiCon San Diego. Unlike the currently available large Q pin, this is 1:1 SA ie smaller. My order is already in.

    Glad you like it everybody.

    danjaq_Off was once again a big help in this project. Much love as always (manly, platonic, bromance love of course) :x

    As to the price , don't forget that its solid .925 sterling silver so has some 'actual' real world value to it. We could have offered it at a cheaper price in a 'looks like' finish , but no self respecting criminal syndicate would use cheap material for its membership badges now would they? After all they have to have something for their minions to polish :v opens floor to for amusing entendres about polishing.......

    Also if you want one... and know somebody who is visiting SDCC. Have them swing by our booth #3351 and pick one up.

    That will be the most cost effective way to get them and save the pennies and they will not be all that hard to bring back as they take up almost no room in luggage.

    They will be limited to one per customer at the show, but if people want to start an AJB request list and have one nominated person come by and get a group order all at once we can work with you to sort that out.

    If we did the pre-order through the website, will we get a pin for sure? Or is it a deal that we only get one if there are any left after SDCC?

    Dont sit on the fence with these guys, it don't take a brain surgeon to work out what these will be worth when sold out, with a 300 limit it is well worth the investment. Just look what the GG is going for now, it was the same with the SD Studios stuff, look how much that stuff is worth now, history repeating its self ?

    Same goes for the breathers, its not that Jeff and myself had a hand in this project, it is your only chance to get these pieces, once they are gone you will be paying bigger bucks. plus they are the mutz nuts :D

    Yes, 100% guaranteed.

    We have allocated a small quantity from the 300 for pre-orders on our website. While you can still add them to your basket, then they are still available and you are 100% guaranteed if you place the order. Once they go out of stock on our website the only place to get one will be at the show.

    Anybody listing them elsewhere is doing so speculatively hoping to buy them at the show and resell them .

    I would appreciate some advice on this. I am a big fan of factory rent and already the proud owner of a golden gun and moonraker gun and already pre-ordered the breathers so the purpose of this message is not to diss them or their products. However, would it be a fair comment to say that charging 80.00 dollars for a silver pin ( silver content is valued at around a fiver maximum) is a little excessive. I would also say that charging another 50 dollars to post the pin to the UK is taking the preverbial, its a pin !!! Once you total that up its 130.00 dollars and then fedex will of course bill you with another 20% import duty and handling fee takes this up to around 160.00 dollars, for a pin !!
    Can anyone think of a cheaper way to get the pin to my front door in the UK for less than 160.00 dollars as otherwise I just cant justify it on the basis it will never be worth more than 160.00 dollars in my lifetime. Kind regards, Mark Rothwell

    I don't think it's a question of IF these will sell out but rather WHEN they will. Let's say FE saves 200 to be sold at SDCC as an exclusive...I have seen LE runs of greater magnitude sell out in a matter of hours. So that means there are 100 they have for AJB pre-sales perhaps? All assumptions, but I dare say pre-sales have been brisk due to the accuracy and limited nature of these items...couple that with the rarity of any Craig movie replicas and you have the perfect storm of collect-ability. For those living internationally perhaps we in the states can acquire some and do some forwarding?

    Look back at the SD Studio desk top collectables, if you are lucky enough to find one you would be looking at paying $200, and they were not a ltd edition with a starting price of $25. With every new movie there brings new fans that want to collect these things and 300 is not enough to go around -{

    Thanks but I will wait for a sensible reply to my queries such as how does it cost 50.00 dollars to post a pin to the UK, why total cost will be 160.00 dollars for a pin and does anyone have any thoughts on how we can obtain them cheaper. Kind regards, Mark Rothwell

    I can see both sides of the coin here.

    I agree with BOFFER about the 'value for money' thing, and that $160 does seem a bit steep for a piece of silver no bigger than your thumbnail.

    However, you have to think about that little piece of silver's background.

    First up, its a bond prop, so it's gonna be worth something in the future, there will always be a market for Bond stuff.

    Second, it's a licenced Bond item, made from studying one of the originals. It's as accurate as you're gonna get, and it's authentic and genuine.

    Thirdly it's limited, and when I say limited, I don't mean Omega's 10,007 'limited', I mean a few hundred, worldwide. There won't be any re-runs, so finding one for sale at a sensible price in the future will be extremely hard.

    Finally, the postage is what it is. Some couriers charge minimum amounts regardless that it's only a pin, and FE will need to recoup the cost of this. Also, do you want your priceless limited editon pin to be sent by ParceFarse or RoyalFail, or someone that'll deliver the item or compensate you should it get lost?

    Look at it this way, your FE golden gun is a collection of zamak that's gold plated with someone's scribble on it. Materialistically it's worth jaff all. But, it's also a highly accurate nicely made very limited replica signed by two Knights of the realm.

    So when considering the cost of the pin, think about what it is, rather than what it's scrap value is.

    Minigeff, I do understand where you are coming from. I do understand that research and development has gone into the pin and its not just a £2.00 lapel pin that they are selling for 130.00 dollars. However, I am of course no postal charge guru but I do know full well that posting a pin from the states does not cost 50.00 dollars and nor should it ever. I could post myself back home from the states for not much more.
    I do however have a suggestion. Why dont we just ask FE to send 10 of them to us ( after getting 10 definate names) and ask them to post all them all together as I do know that the cost of posting 10 pins will be no more than posting 1 pin. If they come up with the comment that it costs them 500 dollars to post 10 pins, we will of course know for sure they are aving a laugh. I will start the ball rolling and say I will definately have one and would welcome FE thoughts on this.

    Then my suggestion is kindly ask Ke02eew or DZ if they will pick one up for you, it would be a shame to miss out, just look at how much the Royal Dalton Bulldogs went up after the first 1000 sold out :))

    Well actually its got a little bit more silver in it than a fivers worth, we know because we had to buy a bulk lot of silver only to have the price shoot up a week later which was lucky, and then drop dramatically, which was not so lucky.

    Don't forget that we have to pay the royalties and the packaging the tooling etc. Trust me we don't drive Ferrari's making replicas! The Royalty is a HUGE part of the price of any official replica. Much like the cost of VAT on sales in the UK. Shocking as it may seem this is a fair price for an item like this, officially licensed packaged and commercially sold. There is more work even in a simple product like this than people often realize.

    Anyhoo.... in answer to your question we have to ship via insured traceable methods because we get a lot of fraud, people order and then report the item never arrives (even when they actually have it) and then get a refund from the their card provider. I don't want to give anybody any ideas here but its frighteningly easy to do. This means we have to use the higher rate shipping methods. But even then, people have to face the fact that international shipping is not cheap and California to the UK is a long way. A Fed-Ex box to the UK is rarely less than $50 sadly, we agree 100% that's its expensive, but we don't set the rates Fed-Ex do. Trust me we feel your pain every time we get a $400 charge for a small box with a single prototype from China! We had a bill just the other week for 6 plush samples that weigh nothing and the Fed-Ex charge was over $600!

    If you can find somebody who can pick one up for you at SDCC and then either bring it back to the UK or ship it to you privately from the US you will find its much cheaper. It can be shipped via regular airmail from the US to the UK, uninsured via slow method for probably less than $20... but remember it's slow and not traceable or insured and you have to go into the post office to do it over the counter to get the best rate. Commercially we cannot do that its to time consuming and the risk of a somebody claiming a loss is too great. But with private sales that's not an issue. Of course you still may find you get charged import duty, there is no legal way to avoid that. But if a 'friend' sends you a gift there should be no duty ;) of course again that's not something we can do as we are a company. Tax men don't look kindly on organizations who avoid duty, but one or two private individuals is another matter.

    As kindly offered here, if you can find somebody from the UK who is going to SDCC they can bring back several of these in their luggage as personal property with no problem and can then send them on to people... that's the cheapest way.

    Hope that helps.

    Not a bad idea.. the cost of a standard Fed-Ex box is the same regardless of the content or weight, if it fits, it ships. Happy to look at that for you no problem at all -{

    Actually i just had my warehouse guys check and we can get at least 15 of these into a medium fed-ex box no problem at all.

    But remember that whoever receives it will have to pay the total duty that HM Gov decides is due on the package... and no we cannot ship as a gift as we only get the declared value of the package back in the event of loss or damage. If we declare $500 worth of product at $5... we only get $5 back... and the value for customs cannot be lower than the value for insurance.
