Minigeff, I do understand where you are coming from. I do understand that research and development has gone into the pin and its not just a £2.00 lapel pin that they are selling for 130.00 dollars. However, I am of course no postal charge guru but I do know full well that posting a pin from the states does not cost 50.00 dollars and nor should it ever. I could post myself back home from the states for not much more.
I do however have a suggestion. Why dont we just ask FE to send 10 of them to us ( after getting 10 definate names) and ask them to post all them all together as I do know that the cost of posting 10 pins will be no more than posting 1 pin. If they come up with the comment that it costs them 500 dollars to post 10 pins, we will of course know for sure they are aving a laugh. I will start the ball rolling and say I will definately have one and would welcome FE thoughts on this.

    Not a bad idea.. the cost of a standard Fed-Ex box is the same regardless of the content or weight, if it fits, it ships. Happy to look at that for you no problem at all -{

Actually i just had my warehouse guys check and we can get at least 15 of these into a medium fed-ex box no problem at all.

But remember that whoever receives it will have to pay the total duty that HM Gov decides is due on the package... and no we cannot ship as a gift as we only get the declared value of the package back in the event of loss or damage. If we declare $500 worth of product at $5... we only get $5 back... and the value for customs cannot be lower than the value for insurance.

Once you get the list together email us at support@factoryent.com and we will manually process this for you.
    Hi
I live in the uk also and have pre ordered the pin,and agree about the high shipping charge, but my question about boffers idea is,what happens if I don't receive my pin.who is to blame .do I get a refund from FE or is boffers responsible
Also FE can you tell me if the pin comes in a plain black box or is there anything to say where the q pin originates

I would also be interested in a pin, but totally agree with Boffer on cost. If I could be added to a UK Order, I'd be in....just let me know what I need to do.

Of course if I were allowed to order 10, I'm happy to stump up the cash and resell at an average 1/10th costs to AJB members. Would change the cost to $80 plus import plus about $5 for shipping, so I guess much nearer $100. Is that an option Factory Q-Branch? Happy to take conversation offline if easier....

OK that seems fair to me and I wouldnt ask for marking as a gift as I know this causes you issues. I also know you wish to put the full value of the items on the fedex shipping. Can you let me know what the total is for 10 pins including shipping to my UK address. If its agreeable you can send me an invoice to my paypal address of luthorkram@hotmail.co.uk
    many thanks

    That's very kind Barry..

I'll be going to comicon that w/e, so once the list is complete, provided you put aside that number for me to collect on the Saturday, I'll happily pick them up and post them.

Of course the security of the postage will be an option... Anyone who wants Securicor armed guard delivery will have to foot the bill, otherwise standard postage within reason.

I'll start the list if I may

    Ke02eww.

As I pointed out, happy to collect and post - nb I'm in the us.

But as Barry quite rightly points out, recorded delivery is strongly suggested with it's costs...

If I end up posting this on the cheap, it's your problem if it doesn't turn up...

Think it's time to finalise this list for the sake of FE.

At the moment I count the following on the list.

    Ke02eww - 2 pins.
    Texas007 - 2 pins ( confirmed privately)
    Bensv650 - 1 pin

If there are any more interested pls reply to this to confirm.

Let's give it until next Sunday July 7th and would FE pls confirm that they will have the correct number of pins at their stand to he collected by Saturday of the show.

In addition, can you confirm whether pins can still be ordered through the website, which I would strongly suggest is the easiest method for all concerned. I tried again today and it seemed to allow purchase.

As I mentioned above, happy to make the postage arrangements but ALL liability is left with the purchaser - if you want recorded delivery you pay for it.. If it gets lost YOU chase it.

    Cheers Paul

Asking a US based company on a public forum to underdeclare (so to give false statement in written) a shipment of merchandise does not seem to be right (politely said).

Danjaq, I am not going to trade insults with you as its uncalled for but I dont really appreciate you commenting in such a negative way about me. Bondtoys made a comment about me stating that I was trying to hoodwink factory rent into posting items marked as a gift. If he had taken the time to read my post it clearly states the exact opposite. I raised it with him and he half apologised but ended it with an insult which was uncalled for and uncessary. I placed a post advising him to stop digging and he has again posted an insult. With the greatest of respect I dont really need you chipping in as well. Kind regards, Mark

Come on, Pete, leave this between BOFFER (Mark) and your mate, and take on board BOFFER's recent post.

Toys is surely big enough (as he keeps telling us) and ugly enough* to look after himself on this one after he decided to wade into a thread just for a scrap with a member without having read the post he was having a go at correctly.

(Hope we won't be hearing the patter of Geff's tiny feet joining in too)

Most unedifying, this sort of ganging up, and, I am convinced, one of the reasons forum membership seems to stall.

    * that's another new English phrase for your there, Toys.

    Paul,

Yes we have pins for you to pick up. I have saved 10 just in case but you don't have to take all 10... ask for me, booth number 3351.

They are still available on the website today but expect them to vanish within the next 48 hrs as we are single units (less than 5 away from our cut off)
