A buddy of mine had been drooling over the SKYFALL AT for a while and but was on a budget so what's a guy to do? Apart from buy him an AT, so I got him this. The Grand Seiko Hi Beat SBGH005. I was very impressed with the watch. Thought I would share.
It's a very nice watch, and Seiko has a strong Bond connection as well. But I looked up that watch and it costs more than the Omega! Am I missing something?
I think I should mention that I did not buy him the watch, my wife's uncle is a diplomat, it was gifted to him, who re gifted it to me, I have quite a few watches, and so I thought I would pay it forward...

There issued to the SAS & SBS military units and Swiss made.
What do you guys think?
I like it! It has the right looks for a Bond watch, and it's reminiscent of a Rolex too.
Plus it has the right Bond pedigree (military origins and a Swiss mother ) )
Good choice.
I think if that's issued to our boys in black then I'll eat my boxers.
That Bondtoys character recommended this to me as an alternative Rolex;

I have 2 different Steinhart Ocean watches and I highly recommend them! Excellent value for money
I've heard about this brand before, many good opinions and the watches from the divers collection look exactly like the Rolex Submariners.
