That is a brilliant standee, such a shame about the condition
Is it about 6 foot in height? and does it still have its back support?
You could possibly get it scanned and then spend quite a lot of time retouching, then get one made by a specialist banner/display company.
If you did decide to go down that route it may be easier to buy the record sleeves and rescan them as they look faded.
Thanks for sharing this great bit of lost advertising. I love it -{
I have bought replacement covers to use and yes it has its stand at the back. It's not a difficult job to recreate, the good thing is that the lp art is not exactly the same as the actual records so even if I do recreate it the original will always be different. I have had it about 8 years so have not exactly rushed so far!
Had a bit of fun just to see what it would look like restored. Shame I couldn't do this for you in the real world, Nick. Truly a rare piece to have in your collection.
Years ago I turned down two other record displays, one was LALD and the other TMWTGG they were about 5fts by 6ft, huge and I was in London and could not get them home!
My favourite displays in the collection are my YOLT Pan book ones, very nice size at inches instead of feet, will dig them out to photo
