Mixing up the bonds with their films

Imagine if there was a simulation machine that could create each bond film, but with another one of the 6 actors playing bond instead. For example, Dr No with Daniel Craig.

Which would you be the most intrigued to see?!

Here's some of my thoughts:
- Connery in OHMSS would be very interesting, and I'm sure many people would love that
- Lazenby in MR and DAD would be the ultimate parody
- Moore in CR, QOS and SF would be just odd!
- Dalton in OP as a clown disarming a bomb would be hilarious!
- Brosnan in AVTAK would work. Some said they wished TD did AVTAK, but I see more PB due to the slight comedy aspects
- Craig in TMWTGG, squaring off against Scaramanga and fighting a midget with a chair... interesting

Interesting. I would for one like to see Pierce Brosnan handle the real Fleming material. So Dr No, Thunderball, Goldfinger etcetera. See how he would do. I always thought Brosnan made a great Bond, but was in the wrong era.

I also would have liked to have seen Connery in OHMSS, but still, I liked Lazenby in it. I am not 100% convinced that Connery would be a big improvement, especially if you see his performance in YOLT and DAF, where the spirit is gone a bit.

I love the idea of Connery in OHMSS. I think that would have been a fantastic film, and some fans may have been surprised at how well Connery would have pulled it off. His performance in FRWL leaves me with no doubt that he would been effective in OHMSS.

I'd like to see Lazenby in For Your Eyes Only because his slender athletic build would be better suited for all the skiing/rock climbing outdoor sports.

Conversely, It would be great to see a younger Roger Moore in OHMSS. His style of Bond would fit the OTT plot. Going to Piz Gloria is kind of like paying a visit to Octopussy's island of beautiful women.

I agree with Jarvio that Pierce would be a fun choice for AVTAK. It just feels like a Brosnan-era film....more modern, more violent, but still has all the classic 007 elements.

I can see Brosnan making a great job of Skyfall. The slightly jaded agent, 'enjoying death' and coming back to a 'brave new world' is reminiscent of the early scenes of DAD and his sense of humour would all fit the banter-y (if that's a word) scenes with M and Moneypenny.

Lazenby as the cocky upstart in CR, Craig as the world-weary gunman in OHMSS.

I'm in the camp that thinks Connery in OHMSS would just not work. Part of Connery's Bond was that he had no emotional attachment to the women he was involved with. Him getting upset over Tracy being killed just seems out of place to me.

What would have been incredible is if OHMSS was Dalton's first film. I believe he was offered the role, but he turned it down because he thought he was too young for the role. While I think that would have made OHMSS the best Bond movie ever, we would have then missed out on the Moore era most likely as Dalton would have gotten a lengthy run as Bond. Say what you want about the Moore era, but he had his own fun style and I am glad he was Bond, even if his run might have gone on a movie or two too long.

I'm all for seeing Roger in OHMSS! I'd also like to see him in AVTAK but a younger Roger from say TSWLM or MR years!

Casino Royale is my favorite Bond film and Craig makes that film, but it would be so cool to see what Connery would have done with the role. A different take on it certainly and probably wouldn't have been as good as CR, but still interesting.

True, he was also Bloated and out of shape in YOLT & they might have changed the OHMSS story to fit that camp outrageous comedy Bond of YOLT and the ending would probably have been changed.
