    I'd say my favourite is most likely A View To A Kill, but Nobody Does It Better And Live And Let Die would be my #2 and #3, which aren't on the list if we're doing 1 per actor.

    FRWL almost got my Connery vote... You Know My Name is a pretty good song, it's underrated -{

    The way I remember them as they came out:
    Dr. No had none. FRWL had one, but only had vocals on the back end. Goldfinger set the mold with Bassey's rendition. Thunderball expanded it with Jones. YOLT was the second 'love ballad' after FRWL. OHMSS - none. DAF, back to basics.

    For me, Goldfinger is the one - bold, up front, full of p**s and vinegar. A statement of what is to come.
    The scent smoke and sweat of a casino are nauseating at three in the morning. Then the soul-erosion produced by high gambling - a compost of greed and fear and nervous tension - becomes unbearable and the senses awake and revolt from it.

    Of course OHMSS had a title song! Sure it's an instrumental, but it's there and in my opinion it is one of the very best.

    You Only Live Twice - Perhaps the most beautiful of all the 007 songs. Mesmerizing.

    OHMSS Instrumental - Chrisisall, how is this not a song? Because it doesn't have words?

    Nobody Does it Better - The definitive Bond theme song. Just barely edges out LALD and AVTAK.

    Living Daylights- Not a fan of either Dalton theme song really.

    The World is Not Enough- Garbage rocks. This is my favorite of the modern theme songs.

    Skyfall - The best part about Skyfall was this Oscar winning tune.

    Thunderball (hmm (Goldfinger is a close second)
    OHMSS - undoubtedly THE best Bond theme. Ever.
    Nobody does it better (AVTAK a close second, Duran Duran were my fave band 'back in the day' :))

    Interesting - your list is the same as mine. I would have to say that OHMSS is my favorite, although YOLT is my favorite vocal title song (despite chrisisall's observation, instrumentals are in fact songs! :)))

    I stand corrected, my friend. You are correct in that songs involve singing, i.e. vocals, so the theme to OHMSS is technically not a song. Let's just say the theme from OHMSS is my favorite title tune, but YOLT is my favorite title song. (And one day I shall compose some proper lyrics for OHMSS just to spite you! :)))

    When I was just a child, and saw OHMSS on TV for the first time, I had missed the first half an hour or so, so was not aware that the theme was an instrumental. But I heard the theme playing throughout the movie. I assumed it had words, and my child-mind assumed that the main hook went "On her majesty's secret service away he goes!"
