Have been working on this with Kurtyboy for a while and and finally we have enough reference material to finish it, for those who dont know Kurtyboy he is the one that brought us Camille’s Driver’s License and Universal Exports Business Cards (http://ajb007.co.uk/topic/34614/camilles-drivers-license-ue-business-cards/), Skyfall SIS ID Badged (http://ajb007.co.uk/topic/39469/skyfall-sis-id-badges-updates/), Surveillance Photos from QoS (http://ajb007.co.uk/topic/38051/quantum-of-solace-surveillance-photos/) and the epic Yusef Kabira File (http://ajb007.co.uk/topic/40944/yusef-kabira-mi6-fileautopsy-report-replica-from-kurtyboy/)

The ticket has been copied off both the screen used and a real Virgin Atlantic ticket with accurate fonts, accurate design - both edges of the ticket are perforated as well as the tear-off stub and the two tabs at either end of the ticket, all details are as always present.

Comes with a letter which while the contents of which were not seen, our replica is based on the layout and fonts of some screen used paperwork.

The Envelope is the correct Oxford type as used in the movie and features the 007 text in the correct font.

enjoy!

Nice work guys, it's amazing what detail you can get from just a plain white envelope with '007' on it! :))

Impressive work, as always but there are some glaring errors on the letter if you're looking for accuracy...

MI6 is the Secret Intelligence Service (hence SIS in the logo) responsible for overseas Intelligence.
MI5 is the Security Service rrsponsible for domestic Intelligence. 007 doesn't work for them.

'Strictly Confidential' may well be used in the private sector but NEVER used in Government paperwork as CONFIDENTIAL is a Government classification used to protect information.

The address and contact Number would more accurately be the Vauxhall Cross details.

Sorry guys, I'm just being picky this morning! Haven't had my coffee :)

It looks like it says MI6 to me, but I've been up 3 times in the night with the kids...

Well it looks like 'MI6' to me.

My only question is; would/should there be a letter in the first place?

Yes, it says MI6 Security Service
    MI6 is Secret Intelligence Service
    MI5 is Security Service

Great feedback, the headers at the top of the letter are based off the MI6 letterhead seen in Brosnan movies and they said "MI6 Security Service", I believe there may have been one that said "Strictly Confidential"

To answer minigeff's question, there was definitely a letter with the screen used envelope/ticket, we just don't know what it said so took some creative liberties so to speak.

To quote DC; "do you wanna try putting that into a sentence?"

Sounds like ya having a mardy when you just say yes this n yes that.

I can see you point though, subtle though it may be, yes there are differences between secret intelligence services and security services etc etc, I missed that point.

No worries si, it looks great quality as always, like I say my only point to ponder is whether there should be a letter at all, not really aimed at you, more the actual prop guys. You'd think that if a secret agent was given his orders, it'd either be in the safe confinds of vauxhall cross, not in writing at all or if in writing, in some form of code. Giving an agent his orders on headed paper in plain English would make the mission a bit hard to deny don't ya think? :))

    Anyhow, great stuff guys! -{

I've been suffering from a lack of coffee today!
I was trying to be helpful, not critical and in the interests of accuracy, was trying to point out that there's no such thing as MI6 Security Service! It's one or the other and should really say MI6 Secret Intelligence Service.

I agree with your point too about whether there should be a letter at all.
But we're in danger here of taking this hobby far too seriously!

    It's great work guys!

Quite a lot of research went into this prop by KB and Sruz. The letterhead is pretty accurate to the prop that would have been used as the wording etc has been derived from similarly created letters made for production in past Craig films. Remember that the location was moved from Vauxhall Cross to an undisclosed location. It's not supposed to represent the real world of SIS or the Security Services. Just the prop. And it's pretty accurate in that regard. KurtyBoy got the details of the ticket from the production used, but never screen seen prop itself.
