All of them they are all fakes! B-)
Joking of course yes I pimped the Black faced SMP because I prefer the PO bezel and for a while I was away from home and wanted a quartz version of the PO didn't exist so I made my own :-) never got around to changing it back and kinda like it the way it is now on a Nato strap
I never thought Rolex was that great until I discovered vintage. There have been many watches that have turned my head. From vintage Omega’s to Doxa’s to Zodiac’s to Seiko’s to Certina’s and even an occasional O&W. I’ve had the privilege to own several of these watches. But nothing has ever put the hook in me like the vintage Rolex 5513. To me, it has the perfect clean dial, no-date and perfect shape and size. It is truly not too big or too small just perfect. I never thought I would own one but I finally had enough from going from one watch to another. I decided to take the plunge and couldn’t be happier. And yes I wear it everyday but not in the pool. I just feel there is no reason to risk it.
I wear my Seamaster every day unless I'm away with work crawling through ditches and sleeping in the field, simply because it's not tactical. I don't wear it when I'm running or mountain biking either as I don't want to smash it.
I always thought M was a randomly assigned initial, i had no idea it stood for.....
I wear my seamaster on a daily basis (and its great)but intend to wear my submariner for my wedding day.
Guys, I'm after a bit of advice: I've not worn the submariner out before and it has the Rolex hologram sticker on the underside of the face, can this/should this be removed? I only really intend on wearing the sub for special occasions, so if the sticker can stay in situ this would be preferable, but does the sticker erode with wear and if it can be removed intact am I better to do this?
Thanks guys

I am currently wearing my PO on the rubber strap as my daily wear. Finishing up my latest tour in Afghanistan and when I get back, I'll send it in for servicing. Then, back in the office and I'll be wearing my daily Seamaster. I have the GE model and the CR model. I purchased the AT at xmas, right before I deployed. Looking forward to wearing it when I get back.

I have a normal version of that Seamaster and it always gets the most comments of the watches I wear A classic.
But I do like that with the PO bezel.....!!!' Nice. B-)
Thanks it was a bit of a leap of faith but I do rather like the end result looks great on a mesh bracelet as well. Gives my PO a run for its money that's for sure. B-)

My name is Bond, Basildon Bond - I have letters after my name!
Well, except for when I was was moving and working in or around the house, I have been wearing my Seamaster ever since I've got it. Will be visiting Hong Kong in 2 weeks and I'm planning to wear one of my other watches for a week. Just for variation sake.
I see no point in buying a watch and babying it to the point where it's home is a safe, unless you bought some very rare vintage piece that needs to be carefully taken care of. Modern watches are built to withstand punishment and let's be honest most of us aren't dealing much punishment to a watch during our daily activity.
Bumping the watch and natural wear is inevitable. At this point, I own a Speedmaster and an Orient Ray Raven II. The Orient gets no wrist time anymore, unless I'm going to be around water or I feel I'm going to need to be rough that day. I love the Speedy too much to let it stay locked up at home.. God forbid it doesn't look brand new in a few years 8-) .
I have a 1993 Omega Deville Prestige that is my daily wearer, and a 1966 Constellation that I wear on special occasions. I'm not worried too worried about rain or snow.
However, if I think I would be out in the elements in a torrential downpour without a raincoat or umbrella, or if I go to do something physically demanding, then I just wear my inexpensive dive watch on a silicone rubber strap (I'll switch it back to the NATO once the super-sweaty summer weather in Toronto is over).
What's the point in having nice things if you don't show them off?

I disagree on that point. I enjoy having nice things for the sake of having nice things, not to show them off. Sure, other people's admiration is nice no matter how much I deny it but I try to push myself to purchase things for myself and not others.
Part of the reason I love owning an Omega over Rolex. There are a couple of Rolex watches I love but I don't want the attention and questioning that comes with a Rolex. I guess it's a good problem to have in the future )

I agree that we shouldn't be wearing nice things to be showing them off. On the other hand, just because people notice a Rolex shouldn't stop you if you want one. Most people can't appreciate them the same way you could.
However my wife has said I can get one for my 50th so only two more years to wait!
Which DC era Omega would you recommend if you were to get one? I'm looking at SA ones and not any limited edition or 007 branded versions. Just the ones that he actually wore on screen. -{

Depends on what you want but my top 3 are the Planet Ocean 2500 42mm, Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial, and Aqua Terra (if you want a smaller watch get the Skyfall version, if you want something bigger then the 41.5mm Spectre version).
The most versatile is the AT. You can wear it in any situation. It's not a divers watch but you can swim in it. The Seamaster 300M is one of the dressiest divers around. Some people do not like it because of the faux-patina but that is entirely up to preference. I'd say its pretty versatile and I might actually like it more than the Spectre limited edition (it's not SA though).
Finally, you have the PO 2500. It's clearly a Sports Watch but arguably my favorite. I like it much more than the 8500 version used in Skyfall which is just way too thick for me. Plus, I like the more understated look of the 2500 while the 8500 and on POs are clearly more blingy.
All in all, you got to go to the store and try them. Pictures and videos will never do a watch justice. If it's going to be your only luxury watch, then the AT is the most versatile though some may find it too dressy. I do not.
I had the same decision to make and went with the Speedmaster. My whole life I wanted a Bond watch and last minute I chose a non-Bond watch. The Speedmaster isn't Bond but it's far more iconic than any of the above pieces and the best value of these watches. Plus, I'm a car guy and it's a racing watch and that little thing about NASA and being the first watch on the moon helps a bit . That being said, I'm still craving a Bond watch and hopefully I'll get one next year. Wearing a Bond watch is something pretty much everyone would expect from me. I guess I threw everyone a curveball with my choice, including myself.

My favorite is the one from Skyfall, though the QOS is nice as well.
Ref: 2201.50.00 is the QOS one, perfect condition can be had for about $2,400-$2,600. Slight issues with bezel, case, ect can get you in the $2,000 range.
Ref: 232.30.42.21.01.001 is the Skyfall watch. I was out bid by $50 on one three days ago at $2,750. You will see a lot listed at around $3,500 - $4,500 but IMO that is too high.
Note these will not be the 007 editions but they are the same watches. Check Ebay for best prices, and Watchuseek for best overall quality for the money.
Keep in mind both QOS 2500 and SF 8500 watches can be bought at 42mm but the 8500 will wear bigger. Something to consider dependent on your wrist size.
I recommend the SF PO. My favorite watch period. Additionally the ratchet clasp from the Seamaster 300 fits it perfectly.
There is a thread about it on a watch forum (I forgot the name of the site, its the biggest on the net) where I figured it out and someone went into further details on it.
I wear a well worn and battered planet ocean 2500 on a nato (non oem) daily, but change it to a something smarter after work.
Enjoying Death, they are all worthy timepieces, the CR smp 2500 is a brilliant watch which is a sturdy tool watch and looks dressy, and is iconic, but the fact is unless you have a specific lifestyle or use or look your after I'd suggest you try the ones you like the look of on, it's really the only way to be sure, after all. Watches spend a lot of time on your wrist.
Personal opinion QOS PO 2500 42mm is the most versatile. I own the others mentioned but this is my absolute favorite. But as others have said if you have no preference or lifestyle consideration choose the one you like after all you will be paying and wearing it.
Good luck and enjoy the experience!
Cheers :007)

Tricky one but I would prob agree. Its brother is a tad large for my current taste.
I have moved to wearing Bremont watches, i own the Terra Nova (only 300 exist) and the ALT1-ZT 51. Love them too bits and Bremont's customer service is second to none.
To respond to my own question from 2013: About 85% of the time and more in winter than summer.
Deciding on what watch to get can be difficult at first until you find THE one. After that you can't believe how it could have ever been a question. The moment I put on the SMP 300 I was hooked. Haven't felt that with any other watch before or since. Although the white dialed stainless steel AT with gold indexes and hands might be my next watch. However, I just bought a new bass guitar so the watch will have to wait.
I wear my Brosnan Seamaster Prof every day for whatever I'm doing. Sure, it's picked up a couple of dinks and scratches along the way in our 20-ish years together, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
More importantly, I think it's what the watch would want...;-)
I wear my 14060M Submariner almost... any time I'm not working. And it really is a brute of a watch, it's meant to be used. That's how it got its reputation. I just got back for a weekend of beach camping and it never left my wrist.

I have 3 omegas - 40th anniversary DAD one , PO CR on rubber strap and 300m spectre one.
Wear my PO every day , 300m in the evenings at home and non work days and DAD one when I feel like a change.

Loving the Rolex maybe one day! B-)
Very cool, I love customisation -{
For me that is the ultimate Bond watch -{
I'm wearing my father's vintage IWC daily. I didn't like it at first, but it has grown on me.
Still hoping to get a Submariner one day, so I could alternate between the two.

But others object thst they collect dirt and cause skin reactions though
