Sunspel Polo Alternatives RE: I'm a giant

Long time lurker... First post....

Greetings!! I've greatly enjoyed reading through the forum. It's been quite addictive. Thank you all for the great and seemingly endless info that can be garnered here.

My question deals specifically with the Sunspel Polo, and finding an alternative that might fit my giant frame. I'm 6'5" and a solid 260lbs. As such, the Sunspel, even in XXL, is just to small for my frame, shoulders...etc. Does anyone have any suggestions that might work for me?

The things i like about the Sunspel that make it especially appealing are the fabric, collar (it's of the same fabric), button color that matches the shirt, and the simple narrow placket. Though i have found polos that are nice, nothing seems to come close. Any suggestions?

    Hey Vanquish,

I came across the blog "Dress like james bond" and I think this might help.
    http://www.dresslikejamesbond.com/perla-de-las-dunas-desert-outfit-from-quantum-of-solace/

Though they are a cotton/poly blend, they do come in big&tall sizes and have all the details. And for the price, I think it is worth checking out.

    Thanks Gents for the replies.

Oakbark-- I know! If those metal teeth didn't play with the flavor of the martini's.....!!!!!!

I've worn a few of the polos mentioned it your replies. And while just fine shirts, they lack that refinement that was hoping for. It's tough, because comparing quality and details, the sunspel polos are just head and shoulders better. It's such a fine line between classy, and 'walmart', in many cases. And the devil is in the details. Obviously, there was a reason the costumers chose what they did for the movie.

The things i like about the Sunspel that make it especially appealing are the fabric, collar (it's of the same fabric), button color that matches the shirt, and the simple narrow placket.

But again, thanks for the help, and i welcome any other suggestions!
