Guys and Gals,
I came across this in another website and thought you might be as jazzed about it as I am. The Illustrated 007 promises to offer illustrations from the novels that most of us have never seen except in our minds eye. My appetite has been wetted by two videos seen here:

And

I thought the scene toward the end of Dr. No with Bond fighting the octopus and the scene with the attempted assassination of Bond while driving the grey 4.5 liter Bentley Blower in Thunderball were pretty damn cool! Anyway check out Brian Berley's Ian Fleming's James Bond The Illustradted 007 here:

So, what sharp little eyes you've got...wait till you get to my teeth.

I'd love to see an animated series of the Fleming novels done this way.
I was thinking the same thing. Particularly if it was animated with artwork similar to Berley's. I think it's fantastic!

His artwork would make great print too...all round great stuff...and thanks for bringing this to our attention -{

Yeah, I noticed that too. Likewise Bond's Bentley in Thunderball is the R type Continental with the "sawn" and replaced custom body, otherwise known as the "locomotive", not the 4.5 liter Bentley Blower. It looks like he noticed the mistake and replaced it in teaser 2.0. Nevertheless, the illustrations are still very cool. I also liked the illustration of the 4.5 liter Bentley Blower being destroyed by the rolls of newsprint in Moonraker. Way cool!

I regret to announce that my collection of Bond Illustrations has been officially banished from public display. This comes with little surprise on my part, knowing that I, like Icarus, was flying a little too close to the sun. I want to thank all who gave such kind feedback and showed interest in my work. Perhaps someday the illustrations will re-emerge, but for now I must accept that my efforts have become a miniscule asterisk in the James Bond universe. - B
Hopefully these illustrations come back. These perfectly captured how I saw the novels in my head.
Yep, that is indeed a shame. I would love to see the literary Bond packaged in a similar format in a way that does not compete with the film series. They made the young Bond series of novels for crying out loud. Why not an animated Bond series based on the novels? The Bondiverse is not just about the films.
