Spouses and Bond

I was thinking about my Mrs and her hatred of Bond and how I have to drag her to the cinema to see a new Bond movie. Although she has gone easier to the Craig movies, I put this down to her saying "He's fit"

Does anyone else have similar issues with their partners?

My wife of over 35 years has yet to agree to watch a single Bond film. I don't think she'd watch even if Bond was played by ME!!!!!!! :#

Congratulations to you and your wife on your 20th anniversary, TP! -{ I hope you were able to celebrate your milestone in fine fashion.

And no, I wasn't kidding about being a geezer. Notice I said over 35 years without giving the actual number. There's a reason for that! :))

Bride of Barbel gives a resigned sigh and goes online whenever I pop a Bond film on... which is frequently.

I took my fiance to see Skyfall, which was her first Bond film. She loved it! I was lucky that she got introduced at such a great time and moment in the Bond series. Since then we finished the Craig trilogy and then went back to start watching from the beginning. We are watching Moonraker tomorrow as part of our date night. Usually once or twice a month we have a Dinner & Bond date night.

I think the key is moderation. I know we are all crazy Bond fanatics, but we can't expect our significant others to have the same obsession. Sorry some of you are having some trials with including Bond in your relationship :(
