We never get to see what Wint is talking about when he mentions the titbits because it cuts away to Kidd arming the bomb. There was some breadsticks and other things on that table so i think they are the titbits.
Think Kidd lights up a couple of scewered kebabs, hence his impending fireball.
Are including drinks? In addition to the usal Vodkas, he has drunk: Sherry, and Mint Jllip (GF), Burbon, and coffee appear (LALD) Brandy (DAF) Scotch with M (Gldye - TWINE), Mohito (DAD) Red wine (QoS) Lager (SF)
As moose states, bond also shared a bourbon with M in GE;
"Drink?"
"Yes, your predecessor kept some conniac in the top..."
"I prefer bourbon. Ice?"
M is also seen drinking whiskey, which bond also drinks with Silva in SF.
Bond cooks Stacey a quiche in AVTAK, and he drinks Smirnoff while waiting for Carvers goons to show up in TND, but gets Paris instead.
The dinner with Kristatos in FYEO * and with Magda in OP have always been visual highlights for me.
There is nothing better than a nicely decorated open-air table after sunset in the summer -{
Having watched OP again on my new 70'', it's pretty obviously a small egg and not a sheep's eye (yuk)
So you have ruined that now for me, Barbel
* and I have tried Robolo from Kefalonia - it's too sweet so Bond was right
President of the 'Misty Eyes Club'.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
The yogurt can be Greek - it's tastes the same whether it's from Greece or Turkey.
Allmost the same, Greek yogurt is a bit more acidic/sour in taste, or Turkish is a bit more velvety/softer on the palate, but overall they are interchangehable in most dishes.
Also: conch chowder in TB (he must have been reading the wrong books...)

One of the reasons I started this thread was because I seem to remember Bond eating Baba Ganoush, but I can't remember which film. I was hoping someone may have remembered this, although I have enjoyed remembering some of the other stuff.
So what did he actually eat with Kristatos in FYEO?
A souffle in OP (which simply can't wait), though he draws the line at "one of our specialities, stuffed sheep's head". I read somewhere that when Louis Jourdan appears to eat one of the sheep's eyes, it was actually a boiled egg.
In Norway sheeps head , so called "smalahove" is a delicasy........
Just grabbing a few cheeky days in Turkey and they have the most delicious figs at the breakfast buffet, so thought I'd share a pic of Turkish figs, thick yogurt and Turkish coffee, "very black" as I think Connery ordered it?
Aha, the lengths a dedicated Bond fan won't go to, all in the name of research... )
sorry to put a dampner on your Turkish break, but no self respecting Turk would serve you coffee in a Euro jug,
leave the confines of your international hotel ,and get into the local town and get the real stuff, you cant beat it
enjoy
