Perfect Bond Movie Order

If you were to introduce Bond to someone new and they agreed to watch all of them including the Non-Eon canon...In what order would you go?
I would start with Casino Royale through Skyfall
Then Spy Who Loved Me & Moonraker for the extreme contrast..still working on the rest.

OHMSS, CR, LTK, Skyfall and Goldfinger.
PHASE ONE: Daniel Craig (The more realistic Dark Knight/Bourne take)All three about loss.
CR
QOS
SF
PHASE TWO: The more outrageous fun Bond this way they will get over the shock quickly.
TSWLM
MR
PHASE THREE: The ones that started it all & pretty straightforward in line with the DC ones.
DN
FRWL
PHASE FOUR: These work as fine companions to DN/FRWL since they are much smaller in scale.
LALD
TMWTGG
PHASE FIVE: Classic Bond
GF
TB
PHASE SIX: TAKE A BREAK WITH CR54 & CR67
A pallet cleanse of awfulness even though CR67 is insanely expensive looking & has great production values & has hot babes but it most likely will be hated. CR54 has my respects for being live to tape..that's pretty impressive..but still poor.
PHASE SEVEN: Tracy Tragedy/Felix Tragedy/revenge/& echo of Tracy/Payback for Blofeld.
OHMSS
LTK
FYEO
PHASE EIGHT:
TLD
GE
TND
PHASE NINE:
ROGER MOORE RETIREMENT
OP
AVTAK
PHASE TEN:
SEAN CONNERY RETIREMENT
YOLT
DAF
NSNA
PHASE ELEVEN:
PIERCE BROSNAN RETIREMENT PLUS 4OTH ANNIVERSARY
TWINE
DAD

I am torn between showing NSNA and Octopussy together since it captures the Battle of the Bonds. I skipped CR 67 because it doesn't add much for me. We might come back to it after we finish DAD
Nice, I like to break it up a bit because I've always noticed when doing a marathon newcomers get tired of a bond after the third movie..
The only bad part about doing the Craig trilogy first and then going through chronologically is that we are going to have to end on Die Another Day.
The good news is that we should be moving into our new place by the time we finish the marathon, so we will likely watch CR or SF to celebrate as the first film in the new digs.
There are really no Bond films I dislike, but DAD is probably in the bottom 5 for me and definitely an anticlimax as you said.
I've always thought of DN through AVTAK to be a chronological tale. The Dalton and Brosnan movies as the "Lost Adventures" of Bond, filling in the gaps between DN and AVTAK. And then Craig is "Bond Origins". So another way to view it would be with Craig trilogy to start, and then watching DN through AVTAK while sprinkling in the 6 Dalton and Brosnan films.
I'd probably put the Dalton films towards the earlier stages. Possibly TLD after FRWL, then LTK after OHMSS. The only one that would be out of place is GE with its references to the Cold War ending.
I like that suggestion! -{
They can take it from there....meanwhile I'll be watching AVTAK alone and loving it.
1. GE 2. MR 3. OP 4. TMWTGG 5. TSWLM 6. TND 7. TWINE 8.DN 9. GF 10. AVTAK
First show them all of the actor's Best Bond film (Leaving George for later) and showing them in Newest-oldest for them to get a grip on the age (Lots of people don't watch movies more than 15 years old). Except split the Moore's up
So the list would be-
1. Skyfall
2. Goldeneye
3. The living Daylights
4. For your eyes only
5. Spy who loved me
6. Goldfinger
Then ask them which Bond film did they like the best,
If they pick Skyfall show them
1. Casino Royale then
2.Quantum of Solace
If they pick Goldeneye chose them
1. Tomorrow Never Dies then
2. The World is not enough
If they pick Living Daylights then show them License to Kill
If they choose For your eyes only show them-
1. Live and Let die
2. The man with the golden gun
If they picked Spy who loved me show them
1. Octopussy
2. Moonraker
If loved GF show them
1. Dr No
2. From Russia with Love
3. Thunderball
4. You only live twice (I think we have a Connery fan if they reach to the end of this list)
Ask them to give the films a rating out of 10, if the film is 7-higher continue with that actor.
When they are use to all the actors and have chosen their favourite movies and dislikes show them, moderately Diamonds are forever (which can flow on straight from YOLT coz it doesn't mention Tracy), A view to a kill*, Die another day, NSNA. Then after they have seen all of the them bring out OHMSS (Don't tell them this one exists) Say, "Oh yeah there's this one, it's kind of in another universe, you might like it." Then show it, and see what they think (Or you can show it too them first off).
* Note to Jarvio and Firemass, I'm not saying AVTAK is a bad film, I quite like it actually. However, it has grown on me and shouldn't be watched immediately but later.
-Casino Royale, Ian Fleming
That's actually pretty good...my list feels logical to me but it ends with one weak film after another. Its good to break it your way.
I wasn't purist enough to watch them in chronological order because I wanted more of a variety.
Here's the order I watched them in (mostly random).
Goldfinger --- (by my friend's recommendation for the reason I said above).
Dr. No --- (the first movie in the franchise ; may as well see how it began since GF was nearby)
Skyfall --- (it was on Netflix ; i kinda wish I saw the earlier two first, for plot reasons, but it was a great standalone)
Casino Royale --- (due to the massive acclaim, I just had to see it ASAP)
Quantum of Solace --- (i was told that it was best to watch it right after Casino Royale.)
From Russia With Love --- (i kinda procrastinated with this one since it started out slow)
A View to a Kill --- (it was on Netflix ; I wanted to see TLD, but I wanted to get some context for it first)
The Living Daylights --- (a friend of mine told me how Dalton was his favorite, and I wanted to see why)
Live and Let Die --- (it was on Netflix ; And it seemed like an interesting unique watch)
On Her Majesty's Secret Service --- (Lazenby only doing one film was an in-joke for my friends, so I wanted to finally see what Lazenby was like)
Goldeneye --- (Brosnan was the only actor I didn't see up to this point. And it was an acclaimed entry)
You Only Live Twice --- (May as well finish up the Spectre series. Yeah! I did it in the literary order!)
Diamonds are Forever --- (Wanted to get this stinker over with)
License to Kill --- (Wanted to see more Dalton. Was not disappointed)
Octopussy --- (Wanted to see Moore in a clown suit. Period.)
Moonraker --- (Wanted to see if its actually as bad as people say.)
My next stop is probably Thunderball to complete the Connery series. I saw half of it already but quit in the middle because it dragged. I'll watch the second half tomorrow.
I spread things out. I wanted to see Bond at its best, but I didn't want to watch all of the acclaimed films in a row because I'd have nothing to look forward to later.

Pros and Cons Compendium (50 Years)
Since the last time I posted on this thread about watching through the Bonds with my fiance, we have since been married and today is our first anniversary. For celebration, we watched Die Another Day last night to complete our Bond Marathon 2 years in the making!
I was right about DAD being a bit of an anticlimax after seeing the other 22 Bonds, but it wasn't at the very bottom of the list for her. My list ranking is close to changing, but at the moment we both have the same favorite film (CR) and the same least favorite (DAF). A lot of differences between us in the middle though.
As I mentioned before, I took my wife to see SF which was her first Bond. We then watched the rest of the Craig trilogy, then went 1 through 20. We lagged in the 2nd half of the Moore era and then midway through the Brosnan era. It's tough to say what the best way to do it is. If you choose a greatest hits of each actor, then there is less intrigue to go back and finish the series even if you like the actor since you would theoretically be seeing their lesser efforts after that.
And yes i agree. If you watch all the acclaimed ones first then theres not a lot to look forward to. Thats why im getting stinkers like mr and daf over with.

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Saw both, actually. I can make a more articulate post later, but they are stinkers in my eyes.

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
There are a number of threads already devoted to this topic (TAKE NOTE, YES, MODS?); it would be best to keep just one thread open.
(BACK ON TOPIC):
I posted my recommendations on another thread (and can't remember a couple of films I put down!! ), but I shall give my thoughts (at this particular time) on the films a person fresh to Bond should see.
1. Dr. No - The very first film. Sean Connery's introduction is immortal; Ursula Andress' appearance is extremely memorable.
2. Goldfinger - The film which started Bondmania. The theme song, the villains, the car, the women - has just about everything.
3. On Her Majesty's Secret Service - Ahhhh, yes... the one with "the other fellow". Oh, it's pretty good, too.
4. The Spy Who Loved Me - firmly establishing Roger Moore as James Bond, and gives the audience all they could ask for in a Bond film.
5. For Your Eyes Only - one of Moore's better outings, and it is quite believable.
6. Octopussy - has a lot of the main reason people watch movies (FUN).
7. The Living Daylights - Timothy Dalton bursts into the role in an impressive debut.
8. GoldenEye - I think it would be a shame if Pierce Brosnan was left out; try this one on for size.
If you enjoy these, you may be another Bond fan. -{
