My expectations would be the suit looks exactly like the one in the movie and the suit quality will match the $200 price tag (good enough to not fall apart).

if it matches the $200 price tag you had better get a tailor on board as back up!
remember seeing somewhere a guy in a cheap Goldfinger suit he had had made - its a few years ago but I nearly wet myself at the photo he took of himself

As I always say - find yourself a good LOCAL tailor, or go to the nearest reputable menswear shop that sells suits. Either way, you see what you can get without handing over a penny.
Fraid so, as our friend MG quite correctly states , but the list of details look good
but sadly for $200, the cost price ie labour materials ,will be about $70, so something has to give
quality, workmanship, fabrics, ect I just had my Istanbul suit made and it was £895-00 in a super 110
so even that for that price is not bang on ,but I like it
All the advice given is very sensible....for $200 you will not get much....you may need a local tailor at some point to check the suit out as the quality for the price will suffer, so it could start to fall apart, etc.
No one can be sure IF it will look like the suit from the movie...
Add to that a tailor in person can provide swatch samples of fabrics, patterns and colours. Little adjustments and corrections can be made because such a suit is made over several fittings. All of these things cannot be done if you send them measurements, throw your money st them, and hope for the best.
Even Magnolli an overseas tailor who has been used by members on the forum does not charge prices that low.
To be blunt - for $200 no suit could look like ones from the films. Bond suits are all tailored to fit and cost thousands of dollars each!
Just from a technical point, my suits are canvased, ie the chassis if you like is made from
horse hair, and is sewn into the chest area of the suit, so this will mould /fit my rib cage ect
my guys tells me that I have to have my sleeves pitched back, and the collar squared
what ever that means, on the cheaper suits the chassis is glued in yes GLUE, so that means
the front panels wont mould to you ,I have the rope shoulder and my button holes on my cuffs
all undo , so the answer will be no ,your suit wont look like the film model, but hey if your on a budget
then go for it ,a $10 watch will still tell the same time as a $10,000 Rolex, but you have been warned
What will they base the suits on - a couple of screenshots? The accuracy will not be guaranteed unless they get the exact colors and designs from the original manufacturer(s). Besides that, measurements are best made by an experienced tailor.
Why would you want to spend money on suits or watches that are not genuine?
Some things are just not worth the money in my opinion. I couldn't justify spending $2000 on a suit because of the amount of things that could happen to it. It gets older by the day, and what if you end up tearing it due to an accident or something? Whoops, I just wasted $2000.
good to be true. Luckily I'm more the shape of Valentin Zukovsky so those slim fitting suits
would leave me looking more like Norman Wisdom. )
That's the silliest argument that I am hearing on and on!
First of all, I'd recognize your fake in the first second
Secondly, it's you who's aware that it's a fake every minute that you are looking on it.
Are you buying these things to impress others or yourself? The first one may work in the stupid the second never works!
And if I where you, I'd be annoyed having paid 145 over the true value of such a gem....
You buy cheap, you buy again

I believe that, however it turns out, you will attempt to save face by saying it's brilliant regardless. I wish you luck with it but your credibility has to be questioned

Now whenever I buy something , I'll always buy what I need, not what I can afford, even if it
means I have to save for a while. It has always worked out for the Best, In the end.
Fake watches - like an earlier poster said, they all tell exactly the same time - and within tolerance they actually look alike, hey they can be spotted but generally no-body looks long enough to tell. As a wearer you are trying to pass something off but we all do it to some degree from prop replicas, replica cars. etc etc.
Fake suits - well I suppose its not a fake if it does not have a label its a "looky likey", trouble is you are not likely to looky like the 007 chararacter you want to. Even if you wore the exact suit.
Personally I thought DC looked like an older guy stuffing himself into some way too slim a cut clothing and IMO he did not really pull it off so for me trying to emulate that particular film look requires buying everything one size too small!
Lastly its $200 and so it depends on how much that is worth to you, if its pocket money then buy it. In my experience its better to start off in the right direction rather than hoping that something that looks too good to be true will actually meet expectations.
Good luck on your sartorial quest -{
It sounds to me like you've decided what you want to do and are hoping that people will tell you that you're right to do so. Now that people are disagreeing, instead of changing your mind you're coming up with reasons to not believe them. So it sounds to me that you want to believe so badly that buying from this site is a good idea that it blanks out everything else.
Now, I totally get that. I used to be the same. But experience has taught me otherwise. You're looking at buying a suit from a site that won't even post photos of their own product. How bad must they be that they won't show you what it looks like? Based on that and the price point (far below what other discount suitmakers charge) even if your measurements were accurate I doubt the fit of the suit, colour, or quality of the material would be anywhere close to what you're hoping for.
If cost is an issue then I'd suggest going to a place like H&M or some other store with less expensive (but sometimes quite nice for their price) suits. See what fits better on you, check how the colour and pattern look in the real world, and then if needed get it nipped and tucked by a local tailor. Now you're looking at $300 instead of $200, but it will look, feel, fit, and last much better than this mysterious, invisible suit from some unknown tailors.
For example, this suit at H&M is 100% wool (not a polyester blend) and having seen it myself in the real world I can say that for an entry-level suit it's far nicer than it's price would suggest:

I mean come on people, have a little faith. This company is making a competitively priced suit, so close to the original they've had to use pics of the real one, plus they've even moved their operations to a foreign country in order to keep production costs low. They're even that good that some simple measurements taken by yourself is all they need to work their magic. And if anything should go wrong they've got an email address monitored at least twice a month you can send a message to.
What could possibly go wrong?

Maybe Kan has a secret side business? Then the quality will be outstanding !
re. fakes, my friend Jocke made a good video to the topic:

Can you get a decent suit for $200? As has already been posted, H&M offer some great suits for that price point. A tailor might tut at some of the construction details, but they have a lot of style, and wearing one with a bit of swagger into a room full of guys wearing $2,000 suits, you still might be the best dressed guy in the place if you know what you're doing.
Which brings us to online stores. The most notorious online shops are the movie jacket ones that either use a picture of the film, or even a picture of a competitors copy of said jacket. These products are normally flimsy and cheap and embarrassing to wear.
I think of it like this in hierarchy - you've got three tiers of replicas. Halloween shop, stage, and movie. So the Halloween shop quality is the lowest level, then there's stage quality from stores like Cosplaysky, it looks the part, but is flimsy and somehow a costume and not clothing. Then there's moviewear, which has to be "real" clothing, and that's your Magnolis, and - sometimes - your Baron Boutique, to name two other vendors who do Bond replicas.
Now, the one thing that this bond site the OP posted might have going for it is that there are a lot of places out there that have experience doing very low cost suits. Give a hyper-cheap website something like the Rocketeers leather jacket to copy, they'll make a tacky dogs dinner out of it. But give them a standard-ish suit, you might get lucky. Personally, I'd spend a little more and at least step up to Baron, but again, maybe it will work out.
