Im sick of the brunettes....eve severine vesper, camille solange jinx miranda frost elektra christmas wai lin paris carver....the nearest weve got to any variation is a small part played by redhead Fields or the receptionist in CR. I would love there to be a main part played by a blonde for a change, just to break the monotony. Or even a Redhead like Christina Hendricks.
I think the role would be suited to the following suggestions...
Scarlett Johansson
Katrina Bowden
January Jones
Diane Kruger (would be brilliant)
or Brittney Powell
I think good "Evil" bond girls would be Natalie Dormer or Katee Sackhoff
Or....Just for Laughs Kaley Cuoco from Big Bang Theory!
But in all seriousness, do you think that it would be a welcome change, if so who do you suggest in the role, or has it never bothered you at all?

Never bothered me at all. As long as the Bond Girl is attractive and a good actress, her hair color, skin color, eye color, etc. doesn't make a difference to me. I'm more concerned that she have a good role and a decent script to work with. (None of that Mary Goodnight or Jinx nonsense, for example.)

"I am not an entrant in the Shakespeare Stakes." - Ian Fleming
"Screw 'em." - Daniel Craig, The Best James Bond EverTM
If I don't like Berrys accent, I am using the mute button
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
It's not Berry's accent that bothered me (what accent???) It was the uninspired double-entendres and Berry's stilted way of delivering her lines. But I agree, if you use the mute button and just watch her on screen in a bikini, I can certainly think of worse ways to spend my time!
Katheryn Winnick of 'Vikings' looks like a shieldmaiden, is a martial arts champion and is a licensed bodyguard!

Mélanie Laurent (Inglorious Basterds) is a good candidate:

She's Swedish, she's blonde, she is a very good actress, she's in a very intreaging TV-series.
She is 41, but she looks younger. Sofia had an accident when she was in her teens, she she has scars on her upper lip. Here is a picture that shows it very clearly:
But think of it: Holly Ryder had a broken nose, Electra King had a injured ear. Emotionally or physically damaged women is very typical of Fleming. Give her an interesting backstory for the scar and focus on how beautiful she is!
thought it was just me, but I have struggled to tell some of them apart, they tend to blur into an amorphous mass as variations on a theme. It may of course have something to do with Daniel's colouring, and a desire for contrast on the screen. personally I don't see that as a problem at all. whilst we are at it could we have some curves as well (old Skool don't cha know :007) )
Im glad im not alone. I did think that they might be avoiding it because of all the fuss made out of a "blonde" bond, but i dont think it would be an issue. And yes curves too....im only 21 but am also "old school" when is comes to that. I heard it said that Berenice Malohe had amazing curves, but to me looked like another stick insect with a few bumps in the right places!
Add me to the list of "old school" curves fans. Stick figures just don't do it for me.
Same here!

Sadly (for Craig), she's six feet tall

She reminds me of Uma Thurman.
Thunderpussy, always so attentive of other people's troubles
