    Don't dress like a farmer just cos Bond did. :))

    Collect what you like, don't collect things just because you think they're an investment, it should be as much about, if not more about your passion and interest for bond, not a way of making money.

    Patience is the key and the ability to play your cards close to your chest. Once your patience is rewarded (this can take several years) and you have an example of the item you have coveted then you can start to dribble the information out to trusted confidents and fellow collectors that you've met along the way. During your quest you will turn up unexpected items and information that you can trade with your compadres. It is quite rewarding seeing examples that you've identified drop into the hands of your friends for a song and in time, as word gets out see the value soar as more and more collectors flock to your discovery like moths to a flame (oh yes, occasionally we all get burned, but I accept that this is all part of the game we play). Remember, value is what an item is worth to you, not anybody else. Above all else, have fun with it, don't be afraid to ask, we don't all bite ..... Well Danjaq_Off does, but only when he's wearing the gimp suit ;)

    As you may have noticed there is also a lot of banter on this site too.

    RULE ONE: Never take it to heart, and banter back.

    Very true words! The (re)search is often at least as fun as the ownership. The internet is your friend and will often tell and show you what something should look or be like.
