Your favourite Bond & Moneypenny moment

As it says on the tin.

I lie the original, the first scene between the two in Dr No.

Bond opens the door, throws his hat onto the hatstand. Sits beside her, she gives him a row & then the immortal lines:

"Moneypenny, what gives?"

"Me, given an ounce of encouragement"

Brilliant flirtatious behaviour. Great scene.
Tell me, does the toppling of American missiles really compensate for having no hands?

I agree, but I'd add the scene at the start of TWINE.

"I know exactly where to put that...". CLANG!

Ms Bond is delightful at being nice but very naughty too in the characters she plays. She's brilliant in Downtown Abbey as Lord Grantham's sister!
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

YOLT has the best moment: Moneypenny trying to trick Bond into repeating the password "I love you" to her
Have you ever heard of the Emancipation Proclamation?"

    " I don't listen to hip hop!"

I love that one! Another standout moment for me is in OHMSS when Moneypenny changes Bond's resignation letter to a request for leave. Especially the look on her face when M thanks her. Priceless!

The one I like best is when the female Italian spy is hiding I Bonds wardrobe,
and Moneypenny gets Ms overcoat out whilst keeping Bonds secret safe,
she knows full well what went on that evening ,and her expression on her face is priceless
is the wrong word ,but you get the picture, I just feel so sorry for her in that scene,
RIP Louise you was the best Moneypenny ever :x
By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?

I love the " you might be able to fool the old man" scene, they're like two kids being caught out by the teacher. :))

When Bond signs the photo for Moneypenny, "with love", then adds on top, "From Russia" in the film of the same name!
The scent smoke and sweat of a casino are nauseating at three in the morning. Then the soul-erosion produced by high gambling - a compost of greed and fear and nervous tension - becomes unbearable and the senses awake and revolt from it.

This is one of my personal favorites as well.

I'll also state the obvious moment of Moneypenny catching Bond's hat at his wedding. The way she grasps it and the look in her eyes as Bond goes off with Tracy. My goodness you will always be amazing Lois!

Moneypenny said that she always cries at weddings. I think Moneypenny has always wanted to marry Bond and she is devastated as Bond has married Tracy and not her. Her dreams of being Mrs Bond were dashed and that was why she was crying.

There are so many! Quite a few of my favorites have already been mentioned. Another moment that I really like is the one in GoldenEye "as far as I can remember James, you never had me"

Can't believe nobody has mentioned the virtual reality scene in Die Another Day.
I love this, because the first time I saw it I thought it was real.

Also, love the fact that the producers finally found a way for Moneypenny and Bond to share a snog. Fantastic. Surely, the highlight of the final third of DAD??

    When she shot him.

    Oooh SNAP.

    For me -

-The conference in M's office in FRWL

-OP, involving Penelope Smallbone ("Welcome to Universal exports")

-TND ("I'm just up here at Oxford, brushing up on a little Danish")

-TWINE ("I know just where to put that")
"Well, he certainly left with his tails between his legs."

In Tomorrow never dies Bond ,Moneypenny, and M are being whizzed through the
streets of London in a Govt limo ,and the punch line to Bond from MP was
you always were a cunninglinguist James ,and for once Bond was totally lost for a reply
    classic :)
By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?

OHMSS is probably Moneypenny's strongest film all round...lots of great moments.

    - "Same old James...only more so! Heartless brute!"
    - Catching the hat at the wedding
    - "My problem is you never do anything with me", and her expression when M says 'What would I do without you, Moneypenny"

Also, I like her hairstyle in OHMSS! :p

Best interaction is definitely in OHMSS. First the usual flirting, then serious as he asks her to draft his resignation, then she chides him for "expecting a knighthood", then M praises her and makes her day. The whole gamut.

But since Golrush007 mentioned her hair, I have to say that I find her most attractive in the pink dress she wears in Thunderball.
    Hilly...you old devil!
