This won't be of interest to many!
John Wardley has just published his autobiography, John is arguably the UKs, if not the Worlds best roller coaster designer having designed Nemesis (hence the book title) and Oblivion at Alton Towers and many more at Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and Chessington in the UK.
As it turns out, having read half of his autobiography he has an extremely interesting past and the book is definitely worth a read if you are interested in theatre, special effects, theme park rides and anything related to those fields.
What has this go to do with James Bond? Some may already know, but I didn't, John worked for a company involved in the special effects for Live and Let Die and The Man With The Golden Gun. Although the book doesn't give much detail on his Bond work it is an interesting look back. He worked on the double decker bus losing it's roof, Bond descending through the floor at his table, Scaramanga's Laser Gun and parts of the fun house.
I thought this might be of interest to some, it makes for a very good read (as long as you are interested to start with in the subject matter!).
