Favourite Bond Chase Scene

Pretty self explanatory, what is your favourite chase in the entire series? Whether it's Bond chasing someone, someone chasing Bond, multiple people chasing Bond, or, well, whatever you consider a chase scene. Mine, personally, would be the bike chase from Tomorrow Never Dies. Yeoh and Brosnan had great chemistry and the music was really fitting, as well as the crazy stunts.

Closest competitors for my enjoyment are the Live and Let Die boat chase and Ski Chase from OHMSS.
My favorites are:
1 The Thames boat chase in TWINE
2 Opening chase of CR-06 with the building site and Embassy.
3. Ski Chase, OHMSS
4. Entire Lotus chase (land and water!) TSWLM.
These are NOT in a numerical order.
But I like so many others!...
The Little Nellie helicopter chase in YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE
Ski chases in OHMSS & FOR YOUR EYES ONLY
Boat chases in LIVE AND LET DIE & THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH
The car/bike/helicopter pursuit in THE SPY WHO LOVED ME
An honourable mention also to the short but sweet car chase that opens QUANTUM OF SOLACE. Shakey camera aside, it's a set-piece (& film as a whole) which continues to grow on me.
Maybe the ski chase in FYEO for second place
1. The Ski chase from FYEO
2. The PTS from CR
3. The entire Lotus chase from TSWLM
All of them are very close in my personal ranking, next the OHMSS ski chase and the Little Nellie air battle from YOLT
I liked the TWINE and AVTAK PTS very much as well, so an honorable mention
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Others I love but are guilty pleasures, the Eiffel Tower chasing May Day thing, the boat chase in LALD. The tank chase in GE but really not sure many stand up of their own accord. Unlike others, I do rate the pts of QoS.
Roger Moore 1927-2017
The Bike chase in TND. It's too hard to pick. )
There was a chase in the PTS from CR?
-Casino Royale, Ian Fleming
However, my favorite chase would have to be the tanker chase in the closing minutes of LTK. A wonderfully shot scene with an intense score. Robert Davi is truly menacing and there are so many components that go into this (Pam in the plane, the henchmen in the flaming car, the overweight trucker who tries to ram Bond into the mountain, the stingers, the transferring of vehicles, etc). This is a wonderful sequence and I think it was a great way to cap off Dalton's run as James Bond!
1. GoldenEye 2. Goldfinger 3. Skyfall 4. OHMSS 5. TWINE
-Boat chase in the PTS of TWINE
-Motorcycle/train chase in the PTS of SF
Doesn't the chase in CR come after the PTS?
Chase through Siena in Quantum of Solace
PTS ski chase in The Spy Who Loved Me
Istanbul chase in Skyfall
Chase scene/Pts of TND
Citroen and Ski chase of FYEO (and the accompanying music for both ;% )
Tank chase Goldeneye
Little Nellie chase in YOLT
Moonbuggy chase in DAF
#1.TLD/LTK 2.TND 3.GF 4.GE 5.DN 6.FYEO 7.FRWL 8.TMWTGG 9.TWINE 10.YOLT/QOS
had to join AJB after that
The free running scene is amazing -{ ,
Yes my top two also! {[]
Here's a explanation why;
The tank chase in GE took a phenomenal amount if technical expertise. The St Petersburg sets were visually perfect and stunning to see. The streets were made of steel which was wet (or was it oiled) to allow the power slide shot, plus you've got that great 'shortcut' moment where Bond drives the T-54E through the buildings. The opening shot of the tank going through the wall though is pure Bond. Need a ride? Take the tank! Through the wall!! Brilliant. The other aspect of it was the tank itself. It's a genuine Russian tank, but the track aren't. In order to do the street chase, a track with rubber feet were needed. The ruski tracks are only available in steel, whereas (correct me anyone) the British Churchill tank had rubber padded tracks for parade duties and use on Tarmac as steel tracks would tear up the road surface. Changing the tracks over meant also converting the running gear and drive sprockets on the T-54E, so an incredible amount of conversion work was needed on the tank. Add in all the set dressing, traffic and a giant fibreglass Pegasus makes this chase possibly the best I've seen in a Bond film.
The other chase involves Bond vanquish against Zao's xkr. Both vehicles were converted to four wheel drive so traction was improved for the ice. The traction was so good in the vanquish they had to disable it to pull off some of the moves. Some think it was a total custom conversion but corners were cut by using stock parts of the ford explorer's transmission (aston and jag were ford owned at the time). Nevertheless, I believe 8 of each car were produced, each with a specific spec depending on their use. The best was the hero car fitted with working gadgets, sold to Peter Nelson at cars of the stars, who I think sold up to an American collector. The amount if gadgets in both cars, the conversion work and the way the driving was done was simply cool. Filming at those temperatures and in that climate make it an equally brilliant sequence. My only wish it had lasted a little longer.

I could hardly keep up with it. It started out ok with the snippets of different angles of aston but then it just went all speedbally. I don't think there was a single shot longer than half a second in the entire sequence.
Technically it was ok but nothing outstanding, plus the flip on the side bit was cut from the final edit.
At least the aston survived, just, I guess that's some consolation.

The ones I dislike are prob easier to list and the QoS car chase comes to mind (disappointing and hard to watch)
For anyone who hasn't seen the car flipping on its side, from QOS.
