Guys,

Anyone out there in collecting land have a genuine (there are reproduction examples for a tenner!) red sleeve for the Corgi 269 Lotus Esprit which they didn't recently obtain on evilbay!

After the Royal Premiere screening of The Spy who Loved Me on 7th July 1977 at The Odeon Leicester Square there was a Press Luncheon where Corgi handed out their new model 269 with a red paper sleeve covering the standard retail model's box.

Please pm me if you have a genuine example for sale. Excellent price paid. The reproduction sleeve features a facsimile Roger Moore signature therefore my preference would be for an unsigned example.

Thank you.

I don't think the red sleeve will cover the real Lotus Esprit you bought at RM Auctions yesterday, ppw!

back then, you should have been 35, so why did you not attend the event and got it in person? 8-)

I remember them, but not seen one for years, it would be good if you let us know if you get one, and post some pictures of the sleeve with the lotus, good luck. 8-)
