I was looking at IMDB today and on OHMSS's trivia page it said that he had a cameo in the film during the scene where Bond is running away from Bunt and her thugs in the ice rink. IMDB is user edited meaning users can edit articles but the changes made by users are checked by verifiers before being published on the site.
I initially assumed the information about this cameo was correct since it is mentioned in OHMSS's trivia page. I checked google however and found nothing.
I watched the film countless time and i didn't spot him. I am now assuming this is a internet rumour. What are everyone's thoughts on this?

It's bo**ox....if it were in anyway true, then it would be common knowledge.

Beat me to it TP )
...and the Walrus was Paul.
Thats one big bread roll
McCartney was "man in silly green hat charged at by bull" at 33.30
Lennon played Draco's chauffeur at 36.00
And who can forget Harrison's star turn as "man talking to woman in a green hat at Bonds wedding" at 2.11.50. Great performance. -{
He's on screen for maybe two seconds, if that. When does this happen? Bond has just escaped from the Blofeld compound after it's found he's not Sir Hillary whatever. There's been a nighttime ski chase scene, one or two baddies falling several thousand feet off a cliff, and now Bond is in an alpine village at a winter festival. He's being pursued by Frau Bundt and her thugs through the throngs of revelers. There is a quick jump cut to a pair of figure skaters taking a bow seen from above and then, when the shot returns to Bond, within seconds Ringo passes by in front of him with a big grin on his face, sideways to the camera. There is a definite moment where it registers on Lazenby the actor that he's seeing a Beatle and he's just a bit star struck (his eyes widen). Ringo's on screen for two seconds at most. I had a helluva time getting the exact moment right to pause it.
No, it was definitely Ringo. I saw the scene, said, Holy Crap, did a google search and here I am on this forum. You'll see the moment (2 seconds of screen time?) just a few seconds after a pair of figure skaters take a bow. the shot returns to Bond trying to get through the revelers and Ringo, grinning, passes by in front of him.
ha ha! nice reference and a few people got it! For those who may be confused by this pretty funny reference, Ringo appears, pretty much as himself, for about two seconds in the throng of revelers in front of Bond while he's being chased through a winter festival in an alpine village.
I did not know the other Beatles were in the film! If that's Paul goading the bull on in the scene where Tracey's father is matching Bond up with her, then that's a pretty dangerous bit of work on his part. Good on him.
Then the all minions and henchmen could start chasing Ringo in the opposite direction, while Bond said "phew" and he and Tracy could be left alone to live happily ever after.
No...it’s definitely bo**ox...Ringo most definitely did NOT have a Beatle haircut at that time -{
