Omega Seamaster 50th Anniversary Watch

I was packing some stuff away yesterday and noticed a number printed on the outside of the white outer box for my Omega, why I hadn't noticed this before I'm not sure, the number seemed pretty random and I was wondering if it should match the limited edition number of the watch?

    No, it's the box part reference number.
