A great and bold idea that paid off with a beautiful, classy and unique watch. -{
James Bond: I tend to notice little things like that - whether a girl is a blonde or a brunette...
Tiffany Case: And which do you prefer?
James Bond: Well, as long as the collars and cuffs match...
@Sir Miles - any chance to extract the substantial infos into an article? We haven't had one for a very long time
You could write an article - with pics obviously B-) - and we could send it to Si for him to include it on the site...like we used to in the good old days -{

So as a summary - here are the things which have been improved against the Project X Submariner
1. there is no ROLEX ROLEX ROLEX engracvng on the rehaut
2. there is no green X logo on the dial
3. the case part around the tube is not pointy and there are tiny bevels
4 .the tube carries all gaskets, the watch is fully waterresistant
5. the dial and hands carry blue lume instead of green
Let me emphasize, that all parts are genuine Rolex parts, no aftermarket parts have been used.
I am kind of a purist in that regard at least

I think the watch is stunning, only thing that would annoy me is the different coloured lume
Stunning Rolex should do a limited run, I certainly think there would be a market

a lot of things bother me - but the different lume on the bezel does not disturb me.
In real night, the glow is not so strong and you barely see the difference. And I focus on the dial an not on the bezel at night.
I agree, Rolex should release a vintage collection.

There are loads of Bond Straps, True Bond Straps, Real Bond Straps, Original Bond Straps available now plus variations on the theme. In my opinion, the most accurate version can be found here...

Nice watch....for a change
Ah, sucks.
Waiting for a new watch is terrible, particularly for you it'll be the first real Submariner
Hope that it arrives soon, Welshie
