Although I really appreciate you sharing these deals with us UNCLE27, I though the BR peacoat typically costs around $700 USD without any special deals? Are the shipping/import duties really around 25% of the cost? That would surprise me, and I'm in Canada where we pay higher import duties than most other places.

Sadly... Yes!! At least they are to the UK and up until now, that's been a deal breaker for me.
My Booby's have also arrived Again, well packaged and prompt delivery. I hope you're happy with your 'gamble'.

UK Import Duty for clothing is 12% and a further 20% Import VAT.
At least all this tax is being well spent.... 8-)

I am also in Canada, and when I initially was trying to order through the BR site, shipping and duty make the jacket closer to $900 so I was lucky to find one on style forum for $650.

Well guys, I bought the charcoal last week when the promo came up. Graham is one outstanding chap, and my hat goes off to him. They will honor the 25% discount and will be retroactive if you have purchased their coat.

This is just another option for us.
