Elon Musk is buyer of Lotus Espirit submarine car

Hi all,

Looks like Elon Musk - billionaire playboy and CEO of Tesla motor, SpaceX and creator of the "Hyperloop" project - was the buyer of the Spy Who Loved Me Lotus Espirit submarine car:

According to some reports, he's planning to make it functional. At the moment, it is a "wet" submarine, meaning that it fills with water when submerged, which to me just sounds like someone pushed an ordinary car into the water!

Right...because I've seen 3 or 4 versions of this...seems a lot of cash for what it is, imo...
