Bond's Mobile Phone

I've had a nagging question since CR about Bond and his use of mobile phones.
Personally, I find them to be obtrusive and I can remember when I used to have to carry nothing more in my pocket than my house/car key....then the automakers put a chip in the key and gave them more weight and bulk. Then the mobile phones materialized and eventually were sized down a two by four inch size...but when
dressed casually sans any type of jacket one was either forced to stick it in their
pocket - which personally I hated because of the weight and the protrusion - or to carry in one of those belt holsters - which was just as bad as it made one look as though they were geared up and at work.
Now the mobiles have become thinner and lighter, but larger (Craig's SF
mobile measuring around five by two and a half inches. I tried one out and felt
as though I were carrying a notepad around in my pants.
Now granted, Craig/Bond can slip it into his suit jacket pocket as he would his keys, but how obtrusive must it be when he's not dressed in a suit? With all the stunts and running and falling he does, I'm truly amazed that his mobile would still work! Perhaps I'm out of my depth here since I don't have a smart mobile, but it still makes me wonder about it. Of course the filmmakers can cheat away with this since they can shoot Craig on the move with empty pockets, then when the scene calls for him to be making a call or getting his keys they magically appear.
Of course, he's also saddled with his Walther which he can hide under an untucked shirt, but as it's supposed to be concealed, it's not really an issue.
I remember Bond used to carry his large cigarette case in his hip pocket when he was casually dressed (it held several packets of cigarettes if memory serves). Image if he were doing that now....an oversized case and lighter, his key fob/keys, his mobile and his Walther. No wonder the man has to be in suit most of the time!

Although I do have my eye on a Samsung S4. I've tried one
out and it fits in my jeans pocket no problem.
