I saw an article on the new Omega Olympic Seamasters, and for some reason this one screamed Higgins:

Perhaps Rolex like Omega blow up when you align them at zero? :))

I really don't know what to think about the new Olympic Omegas. They look kind of cool, but a Seamaster with 60 meters water resistance feels weird. I think my girlfriend sums it up best. "That would be a really nice fifth watch, if it was € 100,- like a flikflak".

New to me, an Aqua Terra... almost bought the Seamaster 300 but decided against it in the end. Strange.

Congratulations Matini! And a great choice to go for the old version and a black dial! Wear it in good health for a long time.

I considered buying that exact model but in the end I decided to go for the 231.13.42.21.02.003 instead, leaving open the possibility for a SM300, PO or DeVille as my black watch. Looking at your picture makes me doubt that choice a little bit :))

Beautiful watch Martini and a good picture! Enjoy wearing, that's a great choice.

    Thank you all :)

I haven't had a new watch in years... I bought a Speedmaster about 8 years ago and a Planet Ocean (QoS) about 5 years ago... so treated myself a little here!

    TXihSHd.jpg

I was set on the Seamaster from SPECTRE but I made the mistake of trying the Aqua Terra at the same time, just for the hell of it, and I couldn't believe how much I fell in love immediately. Kind of Bondian watch, and now my dressiest Omega for sure. I will be wearing it next week at the launch of the new Vantage...

Thank you! Good choice on keeping things free for a black-faced watch. All of my Omegas are black-faced which is interesting, and the white Aqua Terra is special, but I just fell for this in the end. I don't think you should regret the decision, you've chosen a beauty there.

    And thank you @UNCLE27 and @Gymkata :)

Certainly not regretting my descision but when I see a black AT I can see why I had a difficult choice as I really love the look of that watch as well. I bought my blue SMPc about 5 years ago so who knows what kind of black watch I will buy 5 years from now :)
