Milenese mesh straps have been around for a long time, proper ones should be hand made in Milan, but I doubt even the new Omega one is, I've always preferred them over the shark mesh tbh, but both look good IMHO.
Tapered brushed finish milanese I picked up from Stracode.
Just got in the mail the Crafter Blue CB10. Took my SKX007 to a whole new level. Very comfortable and high quality. If you have been looking at these, do not hesitate in picking one up.

Heh! I've got one of those 5's (not the gold, just silver) and on a not-dissimilar bracelet either. It's a handsome little thing.

I know it’s not Wednesday...but finally getting around to posting my new Omega Seamaster. Thank you to al the members that helped me embark on my first Omega watch purchase!
Nice. The new SMP has really grown on me. I particularly like it on the rubber strap.

Would you be able to provide the specific model of this Seiko please?

It is a Seiko 5 (suits) ... the last version is a little different ... but not so mutch -{
Looks great! Congratulations, bet you can't take your eyes off it.
So is that the current one? Lots of similarities to the NTTD one.
Yes, it's the current Seamaster Diver 300M. I believe, other than an updated face and master chronometer movement, the visual differences are a slightly large case at 42MM (vs 41MM on the Brosnan/Craig film versions)
Absolutely love it! As I mentioned in earlier posts my Dad and I used to watch the Bond films together...so its got an added memory associated with it with every glance
As you mentioned it has a larger case and a METAS movement but there are other differences compared to the Brosnan/Craig era Seamaster....
The current Seamaster Diver 300M has a dial and bezel made from ceramic, the wave pattern of the dial is thicker and wider compared to the Brosnan/Craig versions, the crown is larger, the helium escape valve is conical in shape, it has an open case back which was only available on the Seamaster GMT 2535, the bracelet has screws for the links which was introduced in the prior Seamaster Diver 300 reference 212.30.41.20.03.001 and the new model at retail is 23% more

That's an SNZH57 - lots of people call it the Fifty Five Fathoms because it looks a bit like a Blancpain (if you squint.. a lot!)
Very envious of all of those Brosnan-era Seamasters! -{
My favorite watch ever, no contest. I know it's a widely available watch but I wanted to future-proof myself by getting a few now. Didn't like the idea of searching for one when I'm 50 and having to pay through the nose.
Weird thing is that to me it's almost sacrilege to put a NATO on a 25xx.80 considering how comfortable the bracelet is.
Personal preference after experiencing my 2541.80.
The 25XX.80 bracelet is the most comfortable bracelet I've ever worn. And it looks the best with the watch. I just figure that, as I have basically three of the same watch, I may as well put a different strap on each. Should the mood for something different strike.
Did you get to keep 3 bracelets? But yeah I can see that, definitely. I wonder how you shift between them and how accurate they've been thus far.
Honestly having thought about it, I'm between 2531/2220.80 and the 5513 in terms of "the" watch for me.
But this is more modern but definitely more usable but it's also blue. And even if it may suit me, it doesn't really work with every outfit visually. But then that's a Rolex and then there's the stigma of if you're a prick or a pleasant guy to be around that some people see, same as having a Rolls I guess.
The PO is out of the running to me as of yet because you either have to justify the mass by fitting with the rest of you or it looks ridiculous imo. Got bummed out over that.
The PO was a disappointment for me. It's in a fashion no man's land. It's why I never bought the Skyfall PO even though I loved that gray bezel. The PO is a *great* watch and looks awesome. But I can't wear it with a suit (which means I can't wear it when I'm working) and, for the fits where it is appropriate, 9 times out of 10 I'd rather wear the Bond blue. And because the Planet Ocean is significantly bulkier I'm more self conscious of bumping it into things. Plus, it wears kinda weird for me as I have small wrists and big hands.
And, yeah, I have all the bracelets. Spares too. Every time I have them serviced I send them without the bracelet and ask for a replacement. I have five in total. As for timekeeping, all four remain within +/- 3 seconds a day. Zero issues on that front. But I service them regularly.

Having some fun with this. After seeing the Omega slideshow of NATO straps for the NTTD watch I snagged a grey NATO and I'm really loving this combo. This watch is very versatile and works well with NATOs IMO. Contemplating a brown leather one now.....

Share your frustration with it but the extent of my experience was in the Boutique I saw one at.
Same camp, smaller hands.

Can anyone here familiar with both the Skyfall PO 8500 and the Spectre Seamaster 300, comment on the thickness and how the PO wears.
I have the Spectre 300 and I find that a thick watch but I’m use to it now. So just wondering if the PO wears the same. I’ve always thought about getting one...
Without wishing to open any debate about fake watches, this is a very interesting and informative article showing just how good the ‘replicas’ are becoming. These watches could easily be passed off and sold as genuine watches.
Buyer beware!!

This Seiko "Turtle" is very nice.
Good choice!

Brilliant thanks, and just a Milenese strap added on?

Though one of those is the Casino Royale 2220.80.
