you're the second person that I know who said that the watch is meh but bought it in the end.
To give you credit - the other person is plain stupid

You're actually the third person. That idiot Higgins hated it and now he's bought two and is in denial 8-) I never said I hated it, just too blingy on the bracelet (the original anyway).
errr, I never hated it and you can read this in this thread!
Another evidence that you are nothing more than a crystalclear moron!
Backpeddling now and blaming the metal bracelet is another evidence of your stupidity - it always was clear that we see the watch with a NATO strap in the movie

You're the idiot. Let's go back to the 5th of Feb before anyone knew what watch he'd be wearing. And let's remember who said the SM 300 would be a great Bond watch. I present the evidence here.....

Yeah, it was the regular one I tried on with the polished centre link bracelet.
errr, you where saying that it's "not a nice watch at all".
I fail to see you mentioning the bracelet :v
backpeddling.... :v
Part of the watch isn't it? Or do you use double sided tape and just glue the case to your wrist. You're arguments are flawed as they are the arguments of an idiot.
that from someone who's not able to differentiate a watch from a bracelet ) ) )
Ok, you're saying that the bracelet is an integral part of the watch, right? Let's assume for a second that this is the case (no - it's not really! :v )
So when you are speaking about a "not nice watch at all" this also aplies to the watch on a NATO :v :v :v

It looks better on the NATO or the brushed LE bracelet. But the case could do with being brushed too. For the same reasons I'm not as keen on the new AT, but I really like the older SF version.
Imagine a Submariner with polished case and bracelet That wouldn't look as good either IMO. And Panerai watches can look awful on bracelets compared to how they look on straps.
Anyone else notice the watch in the ad is not the one JB wears in the film with the same outfit
But he actually wear his AT in London as below (well it looks like the AT certainly not the 300) and in line with the events of the film it would be impossible to be the 300 (trying not to spoil here)
My name is Bond, Basildon Bond - I have letters after my name!
Can someone tell me the strap width for the Omega Seamaster 300 Co-axial? I've seen 20, 21, and 22. Looking to pick up a new NATO but am unsure which size to get. Thanks!

There are only two actual Omega NATO strap sizes - 20mm and 22mm.
Smaller cased Omegas like the SMP with a 42mm case need the 20mm strap, a PO 45.5mm takes a 22mm.
The SM 300 has a interesting sized case which is about 42mm, but has wide lugs, so it takes the 22mm strap.
I would recommend you get the strap fitted when you buy it at an Omega boutique or AD, as they will not only supply the strap, but will also fit curved spring bars, which fit the NATO strap better. I took my PO to Bond Street today for them to take the metal bracelet off and they returned it with the straight spring bars removed and new curved ones fitted free of charge, ready for me to fit my NATO, which was a nice surprise.

As for who'd win. Higgy can't tell one end of a gun from another. Plus those trainers and clown feet wouldn't be great for concealment )
