:)) very clever, that would have been my last guess, things like that are not on my radar, I've only found out I can crop a picture.

Thank you! It's a 1996 deville chronograph 861 caliber hand wind. The seller and others think these are from 1985 but the serial numbers say 1996.

It's a smaller watch for me but change is good and the wife will wear it to as it's very pretty.

    Thank you Chriscoop.

I have a later deville with the blue hands. And what I think they called the champagne face, I bought mine from a police auction very cheap but in bad condition. Missing pushers etc and as with many police auction watches no box etc. I put it on a vintage matte lizard strap to mimic the sp third watch.

Nice. This came on a black rubber strap for some reason so I quickly stuck it on this spare brown one. Might well go for the lizard too though.

Have you had that SM300 refurbished? I completely rebuilt mine with nos parts, fitted a new big triangle face which was a mistake I think now as yours looks lovely.

i can't take credit for it as I bought it from someone on watchuseek in Jan 2015 who bought a NOS watchco kit and then had it assembled in the USA.

I did get it before they got suddenly popular and I like it a lot. Works for me.

I got some parts from watchco also, mine was my grandfathers , had been flooded, lume dropped out of hands. the movement was fine though, sent that for service and got a new face, hands, crystal and after discovering it's not possible to pop the bezel a new case. Simply love these old Seamasters the ticking they make is unique.
