Thanks guys. -{ I thought you would appreciate them.
Got two in college from this Summer so the adoption funds are going to be very low I'm afraid. )
I feel your pain, kids are more expensive than this bond hobby of ours.
I have devised a cunning plan in order to fund college.
Let me know if you are in;
Step 1. Buy as many Omegas as possible,
Step 2. Break into Omega Switzerland,
Step 3. Set off nuclear device,
Step 4. Watch my radiation free Omega hoard skyrocket in value
Step 5. Sell off as required.
I think it could work. There is only one man that can stop me.
Dont wait for your ship to come in. Swim out and meet the bloody thing.
Omegas. All my life, I've been in love with their colours, their brilliance, their divine heaviness. I welcome any enterprise that will increase my stock, which is considerable.
I can't remember what vesper wore but that's a pretty little watch, how old is it? the size difference between mens and womens watches is huge. Mrs coop wears an omega constellation daily, it's in for service today so she's put on the vintage deville I bought her, the constellation has a very small dial only about 15mm or half an inch, compared to my watches which all sit between 38mm to 45mm....
3 times bigger!!
I found this art deco watch and had to buy it because it looked very Vesper.
Nice find.
Do you have a pic of Vesper's watch so we can compare
I do not know if she actually wore a watch. It just looks like something she would own. Small, art deco, white gold. I have spent far too much time thinking about this.
@chriscoop I believe it is from the 1930's. I am not having much luck finding information on it. The use if marcasite dates it more than anything. It is very small, maybe half an inch across, if that. I love your wife's watch! *Envy*
A true art deco watch then, it's very nice, would you wear this daily or as a dress watch? I find it a curiosity how small some women's watches are, but delicate wrists need delicate watches.
Marcasite starts of as yellow I think then tarnishes with time, I'm not sure if it can be polished back up or not? But I like the patina it develops.
Marcasite is the tiny black stones. They were very popular in the 30's and since have fallen out of fashion. With all of the small stone I am not going to bother cleaning it up too much. Like you, I like that it looks old!
Well fingers crossed I was maybe a tad over dressed but hey it was an interview dress for success is what I say
Parallels again Chris, the pen has a bit of a back story. I once worked somewhere where we had a client gathering. It was Christmas and so the head of marketing decided it was a good time to get rid of his old stock of give aways. We had a cupboard with loads of pre wrapped boxes so we took them all to the event. We put one on each place and had some spares.
At the end of the night a lady came up saying she had missed the presents. There were two left and I offered a choice (unaware of the content). She chose one and I asked what to do with the other. I was told keep it as an early Christmas present. So I took it home and put it under the tree for the big day.
Come morning present opening my jaw dropped when I clocked what if was! Thank you very much!!
Good news was when I enquired what was in the other box she chose the neck scarf or my story would be very different!!
It's a silver and gold Mont Blanc rollerball - very nice and will be a present to my son at a certain point in the future. Nice family heir loom I would say.
Cheers :007)
My name is Bond, Basildon Bond - I have letters after my name!
Nice story, and very lucky, mine is just a silver rollerball and used very rarely. I also have a month blanc meisterstuck ball point which I use all the time. My rollerball also has a story but I won't bore you with it )
Can't believe the parralels again

Maybe, but the Rolex fanboys won't even notice.

I conservatively estimate ten times.
Nice find.
