I'm with danjaq...as nice as Gadget Meister's design is - especially incorporating 007 - I think we need to keep it small and simple (a bit like me!). I like the idea of something esthetically pleasing and subtle that I can place on my lapel.

I agree, something small and simple. That seems more "Bond" to me anyways.

I quite like the idea of this, with the gun barrel in silver and the hole drilled out, looking like this we are replicating a gun barrel not the James Bond gun barrel it also twist is in the opposite direction.

Here is a tweaked version as per DJ's comments, the white circle in the middle will be an actual hole.

I agree. Sorry GM, but I think its too busy. Drop the flag and the 7, and make the a slightly bigger to balance the b, it could work? As with the Q pin, simpler is better. Nice work on the render though! I have an idea...

(A couple of hours later) - Ok this is terrible, but here is a completely different take? I based it loosely on our key way of saluting kudos...

I for my part prefer MGs proposal minus the silly flag.

I particularly enjoy the subtile integration of the "J" and "B", which I have not even noticed at first sight.

    Very clever, short man! {[]

OK took the views expressed and cleaned up the design and lost the flag (Sorry Dave Z, I was with you) is this any better? I think if you try to incorporate the JB within the rifling it will get lost and have no impact.

Like how you integrated the 007 look into the ajb pretty seamlessly....

Great idea again Andy, but if you read the original post it is meant to be a pin, subtle, not an advertisement for ajb.

    Now if you want to make a members badge to that is fine, its just not what the original idea came from -{

personally I don't like wearing anything to do with James Bond 007 on it, let me get my anorak :D

I was just wondering the same thing! I will be looking for some site graphic design if that's your thing GM.

Anyway the pin idea sounds like a great one. It looks like you've made some good progress. May be we can look at incorporating it into the logo somehow. Let me know your thoughts on distribution and how they would be awarded. I can easily do something with the site if that's what you have in mind.

Quite. You only need the A for Absolutely, the gun barrel says James Bond.

Nicely summed up, and my feelings precisely.

Great design by GM but I still want small'n'subtle...like minigeff.

Oho! M's right, cuff links and a pin, nice touch. However, how would that affect the cost?

The font reminds me of the GWR! :)
