Nice idea about the pin! What about something like this:

Love it. And cuff links can be discreetly worn, unlike a pin, IMO...

    Great design, Rem. -{

I like Remmert's cufflink concept but lacks a Bond element.

The last iteration of the lapel pin looks good but which something could be done with the white: awfully stark. Can those areas be through holes?

Guys I can't knock anyone's enthusiasm or artistic creativity, but it appears we're loosing sight of our original objective.

I think the initial idea was a discreet unobtrusive lapel pin to signify our membership of AJB.

It's now spiralled into the ideas of cufflinks, tie pins etc. we'll be dreaming up t shirts, baseball caps and budgie smugglers next.

Maybe we should return to the original idea and concentrate on finalising a design to take forward to the quotation stage?

Perhaps we could have a few ideas for an AJB tattoo, for those times like a sauna, swimming
Or swingers party when you'd have no where to stick it. ;)

And what would you do with such a tattoo if you leave AJB again? 8-)

Although to get all three letters on I'd have to be very excited.

Love the AJB budgie smugglers idea...preferably in polyester. :)

I'm with MG on this one: keep it sweet and simple. Love the new design and think it's very stylish, but for what I personally want an AJB badge for, I prefer the original design.

Mini G and Dominos make a good point. I do love the style of the cufflinks, but the "a" is straightforward simple and discrete. Exactly what a pin - like the Quantum Q should be.

Plus, hopefully, it will keep the price sensible too. ;%
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

I know I've been AWOL for a while....but what happened to this project? Is it still happening...? Thought it was a great idea, and there was certainly enough interest and willingness to contribute.

Its still a work in progress Lexi.

I can't be sure of the specifics, but I think Mini G said its still going on in the background. (Update, please see link.)

Incidentally if you have not had a peep at the Goldeneye Cells Charity Sale thread yet please do, I can't stress enough the importance of what he says there.

    Found it!

Thanks for the update and I hope Mini G is recovered and feeling better!

Not to sound at all ungrateful for all the hard work that has obviously continued...but as I'm not a reg poster on this particular forum, may I make a suggestion that this thread is updated too...then people who perhaps aren't on ajb on a often as others (but might well have shown interest in this project, and put their names down) can know what's happening....

I for one would never think to look at that particular thread...and it seems it's not a visited thread anymore....

I had set up a PayPal account so people could contribute, and then heard nothing since...so this comes from a place of wanting to help...not from being a demanding bint :D

People, you took my post wrong!

I was willing to step in and pay for the bill but Minigeff failed to give me the necessary infos for wiring the money.
    Several reminders have been unanswered.

Again, I will pay for all badges temporarily as soon as I have an invoice number, amount and bank infos.

We'll send the pins then out and ask to cover the cost.
