Oswald did the first couple of shots, as the security guy picked up the automatic riffle ( it was always
Kept loaded with safety off, and after the shooting they were never carried again ) it was a fluke,
According to this latest theory. I'm not saying it's the answer only another theory.

And that was the reason given for the different bullets fired...the ones from Oswald's gun keeping pretty much intact whilst the fatal headshot bullet fragmented on impact...its as likely an answer as your going to get...
It was a JFK marathon, documentaries about him were being shown on every TV networks. Anyone here seen one of the documentaries?
Seen American Experience: JFK, Cold Case JFK, One Central Time, Who Was Lee Harvey Oswald (on PBS), JFK Assassination: Where Were You (on NBC), JFK Assassination's 50th anniversary (on CBS). CBS had more coverage on JFK than any other TV networks.
So many heinous crime with major political ramifications seems to be the work of "a troubled young man" who had the misfortune of reading Catcher In The Rye.
I generally get the feeling that the Kennedy assassination was primarily about expanding the Vietnam War. Bear in mind that those who profit from war have no qualms about killing one more person here and there, particularly when they stand to gain extraordinary amounts of money.
I'm not particularly a JFK fan but I do think of him as one of the few presidents that actually grew a conscience while in office, and he would never have expanded the war to anywhere near the extent that LBJ and co. did. And crucially, he rejected Operation Northwoods, a series of false flag attacks intended to be carried out by the US military and the CIA on American cities and then blamed on Cuba in order to stir up war propaganda. I think it's fair to assume that JFK would also have prevented the Gulf Of Tonkin Incident of 1964, which led to a great escalation in the Vietnam War.
By the way, has anyone read The Man Who Killed Kennedy: The Case Against LBJ by Roger Stone(no relation to Oliver)? It doesn't seem to be in any of the shops.

Almost two years since the last post but I was 7 when this happened and I remember it being massive news. The day after the assassination the BBC broadcasted the very first episode of Dr Who which I also remember well. I have since become fascinated with the JFK incident and I visited Dallas in the early 90's and stood on the grassy knoll and went into the book depository (now a museum) where Oswald was supposed to have shot the fatal bullets. It's my opinion that he didn't do it alone and another shooter was on the grassy knoll.
Incidentally in Roger Moore's book on the making of LALD he mentions meeting Jim Garrison who investigated the affair and being shown film which proves that Oswald didn't shoot him - I'm sure that this must be another film other than the Zapruder one that is so famous?
Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
Kennedy's assassination was always a topic of fascination. There's so many ways his administration could have been undone. Congress could have blocked his agenda. He could have started World War III with Cuba. His heavy duty drugs and meds could have taken a toll on him. He could have died in office due to his severe medical problems. A dozen sex scandals could have come to light. Vietnam could have lured in his anti-communist sentiments and ruined his credibility. Instead, he died from a one-in-a-million shot from an assassin.

"Honey, I Shot The President..."
But how would that have accounted for two shots, TP? Unless the agent guy thought, I know, I better finish him off proper, one less witness.
