thunderball breather

Hi all fellow ajbers
Can anyone identify this model of breather I have picked recently. .
Not sure about it. I think its an early one as its shorter and tubes more rounded but just guessing though.. :D

I'm guessing either ed or MG will be the first back :))

Looks like a 'Maggie' to me -{ But I'm sure Jeff will confirm or deny.

Close but no cigar in afraid, that's definitely not my work.

The differences are in the brass plate's shape, the mouthpiece and the holes in the valve are half way there.

All the Maggie's were issued with a display box and stand, and a genuine Romeo y Julliet cigar (typo?) canister. The cylinders were also genuine 60's bulbs exactly as per the original, making Maggie the most complete and accurate replica I've made, not that I'm proud to boast....much ;)

It's a nice attempt but not one of mine I'm afraid.

Yeah, looks like PtByNmbrs work. I have one. He's over at the RPF. He also did the 1:1 Craig bust. I thought it was one of the best because it more closely matched one of the breathers used in Thunderball. There were at least two used in the movie. The SD Studios one I have is good, but this one looks like the one Bond handles in front of Q, different cylinders and all. I missed minigeff's version, so I have one on order from FE. We'll see if it ever gets to me.

I agree with Alan...that's Steven Ledford's version. I remember sending him reference photos.

Yes, Steven Ledford is PtByNmbrs. I couldn't remember his name. Anyway, it's a great piece! Didn't realize you had some input on it Ed. Looks very close to what Bond handles in Pinder's cellar. Got mine a long time ago.

WOW!!! Talk about a Senior moment. For some reason I thought I was responding to Alan Stephenson's posting.
At least admit it....brain goes blank sometimes.
