Yeah, I love the classics, but I have to say that You Know My Name just rocks so hard that it HAS to be be my choice.

What's yours?
Dalton & Connery rule. Brozz was cool.

+1. Singing it makes you feel a bit like Bond.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

You Know My Name, it's so good, the rock version is awesome, but the slow OST versions in the movie are also very cool.
Don't confuse me with the other DutchBondFan, but be sure to follow his YouTube account. You can read my articles on James Bond Nederland: www.jamesbond.nl/author/gosse/

But it's about Largo! Don Black himself has said so. "Mr Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" (which was the original song planned for TB) would have been about Bond but wasn't used- making "Nobody Does It Better" the first Bond song about Bond.

    1. You Know My Name - You can't help but get excited about the new Bond just by listening to this!

    2. Nobody Does it Better - A real classic-sounding song with lyrics that really ring true for what Bond is all about.

    3. The Living Daylights - Just damn catchy :D

(Honourable mention: Skyfall) Probably some unpopular choices, but that's just my opinion.

As I've said before, the theme for OHMSS is the best in my opinion, but since it's an instrumental, I have been set straight that it doesn't really count as a "song". That being the case, I would vote for the theme for YOLT, with "You Know My Name" a close second choice.

I could be wrong, but I believe it was our good friend chrisisall. And technically he's right based on the following definition of "song":

"In music, a song is a composition for voice or voices, performed by singing."
"Felix Leiter, a brother from Langley."

I just make up my own words to the music, .........

Bond is Back, he's going to hit and smack.
Blofeld will get a boot in his crack.
    For being a knob.

    ......... and so on. ;)

Not many shout outs for Goldfinger.

I think that is cos it's a song that works best in the analogue age, where you feel the music. The same could be send for the whole GF score, it's not got the tunes of the other Barry Bonds, but it does have an amazingly sexy vibe - on vinyl. So you get the better experience watching on those old VHS tapes.

You know, vinyl really does sound different... more 'real'.
And my first DVD was MI2 after having owned the tape for a year, and the sound WAS actually better on the tape!!! After playing a bit with the hardware I could get the DVD close, but never up to the tape standard. :s

Though like a good many Bond songs, another from the band's repetoir would make a better theme, such as Hunting High and Low, see also Tina's Simply the Best, Jack White's Seven Nation Army, Duran's Save a Prayer/Come Undone (though AVTAK aint bad).
