Agent 00 Frog's Bond Outfits Thread

Hello agents, I realize that there are many threads in this forum for sharing completed Bond costumes with each other. I hope it is alright to make one of my own!

For starters, here is my completed "Shanghai Outfit" from Skyfall.

Shanghai.jpg

H&M shirt and sweater
Banana Republic Tie
Indochino Trousers
Aldo Shoes
Accurist Watch

As far as accuracy goes, my shoes should be boots, and my trousers could use a little tailoring near the bottom (I'm venturing into Moore territory!) But otherwise, I am pretty happy with it.

I think that's an excellent idea! A lot of my finds are from many years ago, but where possible I'll try to include the links for where to buy. Would love to see other people's completed outfits as well.

Today I'm rocking the Quantum of Solace "Meeting in Italy" look.

    italy_outfit.jpg

    H&M cardigan and shirt
    Primark Chinos
    Primark Desert Boots

A pretty simple outfit to get right, but I'm technically missing a pair of passible aviators and a proper watch. Working on getting something Planet Ocean-esque soon!

You can find TF aviators for about $100, so it's within the confines of "Bond look on a discount".

Sole Eyewear has the Tom Ford William model for $209, which is much more reasonable than paying the full retail price ($400-500): http://www.soleeyewear.com/tom-ford-william-tf-207-17v-silver-blue-sunglasses/

They also have the "Marko" from Skyfall: http://www.soleeyewear.com/tom-ford-marko-tf144-ft0144-18v-silver-58mm-sunglasses/

    Great thread!
James Bond: I tend to notice little things like that - whether a girl is a blonde or a brunette...
Tiffany Case: And which do you prefer?
James Bond: Well, as long as the collars and cuffs match...

It's a cold in in Scotland today! Perfect time to break out the "Skyfall Lodge" Outfit.

    Scotland.jpg

    Barbour Commander Jacket
    Amazon Scarf
    Primark Sweater (£6!)
    H&M Cords
Dr. Scholl's Boots (More like Dr. No am I right?)
    Accurist Watch

I found this scarf here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005HDYQDM/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It only cost something £2 with shipping. It was huge! After cutting it down to the desired size, I'm happy to say it's pretty damn screen accurate.

I know Bond doesn't do up all 3 of his buttons in the films, but I kind of like being bundled up and ready to take on the day/Silva.

    This was the outfit that got me into Bond clothing, so I'm glad I've finally completed it. -{

A warm day in Edinburgh, but a risky time of the year to pull out the QoS Haiti outfit!

    Haiti.jpg

    H&M Polo
    Levi's 511 trousers in "Moonbeam" (not STA-PREST)
    Primark Desert Boots
    Accurist Watch

I'm a big fan of these trousers, but truth be told, I think 30 might be a bit snug on me, so I'll probably get another pair in 31 this year.

My trousers just got back from the tailor, so it was time to rock the Skyfall Istanbul outfit.

    Istanbul.jpg

    Indochino Suit
    H&M Shirt
Tie from The Tie Bar: http://www.thetiebar.com/order_page.asp?pn=22119
    Aldo Shoes
    Accurist Watch

Love this suit! Doesn't have the cuffs on the trousers, and it's 2 button, but it works for me just fine. Once again, my shoes should really be boots though.

I'd never paid much attention to H&M, but I went in about a week ago. I was very pleasantly surprised by how slim the sweaters fit in the body. I've never seen off the rack sweaters that fit that slim. They had a great sale that weekend (about $12 for merino wool sweaters), so I spent about $100. I'm a fan now.

That's exactly the reason I shop there: they fit my un-Bond body! Won't be a problem when the day comes that I bulk up Mantis-style, but until then, they've got the best fit out there for North American buyers.

    I agree, H&M is a mecca of frugal-Bond moments...the outfits look great!

I think these Levi's are my favourite item you've displayed in this thread. I've got an almost identical pair (501's instead of 511) that I bought from a guy in Northern Ireland. I've never seen the same colour over here in Canada so I wonder if it's more of a UK thing?

You've got sharp eyes - I actually bought those from an Ebay seller in London, not from Canada, where I used to live as well!

Love the Istanbul suit! Could you give a bit more detail on which Indochino suit you bought? I'm looking at them or getting from Magnoli. Thanks! It looks great!

Thanks! I got mine about 2 years ago, "The Essential Grey Suit". They still have it on the website, but it's a wee bit more expensive these days. One word of warning: although it is tailored, it is very traditional in fit, unlike the skin-tight Skyfall suits we're used to seeing Craig in. As I mentioned before, I had to get the trousers taken in. If you're going for screen accuracy, make sure the trousers are long enough to cuff!
